Even the built in speakers are pretty usable. I have several other Google TV devices and this interface is by far the best performing version I've ever seen. The eARC interface worked the first time in controlling my AV receiver which is a first for me. Only complaint is that the built in Ethernet is only 100Mbit....some on Sony, this should really be a gigabit connection for those of us that don't want to use wifi.

LG lost the war this year as far as best picture quality watching movies and tv shows and even sdr gaming. end all be all is this.. if u game more than 40 percent and only wanna buy one tv for the year…it would be LG C1> G1 but if u dont game as much cough up that master series money and get an a90j or a80j u wont be disappointed.

No question I made the right choice

I looked at all the options and since I’m not a gamer, Sonys picture quality quickly rose to the top in this price range. The new google tv interface is so much better than my prior Sony 900F from just a few years ago. I’ve even been using the smart functions of the tv over my 4k Apple TV now that I have an interface that is smooth and not buggy. I definitely made the right choice. If I had a bigger space, I might have gone to the 77” but this TV is just about perfect.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the GeekSquad was when setting it up—twice! That brings me to my explanation for 4/5 stars. The first TV we received had a manufacturing defect (warped trim and screen) that none of us noticed during installation because we were focused on the picture. The replacement is much better but the screen still seems a little odd. It's not the mirror-like flat screen all of our other Sony TVs have. You can really see this when looking at it when it's turned off—it's a bit wavy near the corners. If this is normal, it's less than ideal. But my guess is that they are having factory/worker issues like everyone else in the world. Would buy again because it has really improved our movie nights.

I bought it mainly for clear sound, because the sound on the flat screen have not been that clear. This tv is very good. We like it a lot. I'm super happy I bought the technical support package with it. I have already called for answers to my questions about the television. The picture on the Sony television is great. I'm very happy. I bought it at Best Buy mainly for technical support, they have been very helpful. I'm happy I bought it at Best Buy.

I'm a Sony enthusiast for 45 years, since the trinitron on tube TV's . Excellent quality, reliability and longevity. The only brand I would buy. The screen is a quality sound emitting speaker itself, picture details simply AWSOME! A TRUE KEEPER THIS OLED IS A 10 (10 and a half)(borderland 11!)

Possibly the best OLED for the price

Picture quality rivals the other OLEDs and may even be better for movie watchers. The standalone sound quality seems to surpass the LG in my opinion so if you’re not going to add surround sound and especially mounting on a wall, I’d go with this set. The upgraded A90 does have slightly better picture and sound, but I don’t think the price is worth it. This may be the best all round OLED for the price.

This was outside my initial budget but I was sold on the display quality. I went to the store and checked it out before buying it online. Another quality Sony product. Picture is crisp. No issues with smart features. I have my gaming PC hooked to it, and the picture quality is amazing! Can't say much about the TV sound quality as I bought a Sony soundbar that was part of a combo deal with the TV.

The only weird thing is this: The stand pieces are goofy. There are a total of 4 pieces. They come screwed together in the box. BUT, once you take them apart, each two-some has a piece that goes with the other side's piece. So they come attached this way Right side piece A screwed to Left side piece B. And visa versa. The instructions SUCK. It took me a while to figure it out. Why they would package it that way is beyond me. The TV is great though once you get it up on the stands.

All inputs support 4k and now I can use the EARC to connect my Sony Z9F soundbar to use dolby Vision & Atmos. Purchased a Sony 4k bluray player also to use with my Roku Ultra,now my movies look and sound AMAZING ! Still getting use to all the different settings when using cable tv. No regrets with this purchase even got a great price that included free delivery....What's not to love ?

Amazing picture quality

This TV is a clear and obvious upgrade from the LG, the picture is crisp with great color contrast. The panel is extremely thin but doesn't feel like it will break with the slightest of contact. It was light and easy to mount on my wall using the same mount I had on the LG.

New Sony OLED 4K TV

The DISH TV technician installed their system and the picture, sound and quality all seem great. It's a big improvement over the previous Sony Bravia 4K TV we had for the past 4 years (non-OLED). The 65-inch size is just the right size for our family room and the set-up was very easy. We also purchased the Best Buy TotalCare which will cover all of our Best Buy purchases.

The unboxing instructions must have been done by a non-English speaker. They were so cryptic you had to figure it out on your own. What a pain for someone who can’t get up and down easily off of the floor. And Best Buy couldn’t get someone out for a week, so I had to it myself. Thank goodness my wife was around to help.

Highly recommended OLED TV!!!

Picture is awesome, sound is good, would recommend sound bar for better quality and bass, but still good for TV speakers, especially ones behind the screen. I highly recommend this if you don’t want to spend the extra $1000 on the A90J, but if I had the money, I would have gotten that as the picture quality is supposed to be slightly better, but I am happy with this for sure!
