Really can't go wrong with either one but I leaned towards SONY to pair with my ps5 and soundbar. This is my first Sony TV and OLED, I am not disappointed at all. Geek squad came out and installed with ease, showed me some tips. You can control pretty much everything with 1 remote now days. Picture is awesome and the sound from the tv without having the soundbar on is impressive as well. For gaming I like the VRR capabilities (with tv software update) you can tell the difference in your gaming. Lag is under 10ms which is good considering it's a TV. Plenty of picture & sound settings, Set those to the Dolby vision & audio.

All reviews seemed equal. I spent a lot of time comparing picture and features. In the end, I chose the Sony because of the processor. The picture quality is amazing. I replaced an LED TV and this one is far superior!! The sound is actually pretty good too, although I use a sound bar instead. The thin frame and sharp picture have exceeded my expectation and the look in my space. Very low glare in my bright room. I highly recommend this unit.

Love our new Sony Bravia

Great OLED TV

I did a lot of research and I decided on this one. Right out of the box the picture is phenomenal. I have had the TV for about three weeks now and so far I am very happy. I decided to take the extended warranty just in case. At first I was looking at the a90 but it was just way out of my budget and the A80 the picture was great I’m very happy with it so far highly recommend. I love my Sony.

My last TV was a Sony XBR900E this my First OLED after months of research this tv won me over the LG C1 in tearms of build quality sound quality Google TV, Bravia core, the XR processor is no joke to the point where you do not need to get this TV calibrated. Out of the box colors pop gaming on the PS5 and Xbox series X work better than i could hope for. Only hope for Sonys Promise of ALLM and VRR at that point i wouldnt even Recommend The LG C1 as of right now its a better TV for gaming if that update hits the A90j and the a80j you have the best tv on the market PERIOD.

Upgraded from an LG C7. Didn’t think picture quality could get much better but this tv is leagues better. Motion is way better. Less artifacts with moving objects. A couple days after I purchased, Sony released Vrr support. Perfect timing.

I have owned an LG 55" OLED for a couple of years now and wanted to upgrade to a bigger size. Got a great price on this one and I am super glad I went with the Sony over the LG C1. Sony's image processing is the absolute best. It looks more natural, and HDR pops even more than the LG. If Sony can fulfill it's promise of VRR support, I will be happy when the time comes that PS5s are finally available.

The picture is OUTstanding!! I do have to add there has been several times it looked like actors on the tv were in our living room! It's THAT great. This tv needs no sound bar. It's sounds as if you are in a theater. We do use the close caption because of our loud and lively birds. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Picture but Google runs the content.

I was watching a show that I didn't like or want to watch any more. I went back to the main page and yes there it is in the continue watching. Why do I want to continues watching I disliked it the first time. I looked up ways of clearing that from the clear data / cache, and nope that did not work. I called Sony and they remoted in to my TV and they said there is nothing they can do about that it is controlled content from Google.... Hey Google stop telling me what to watch, and being overly controlling. I will be returning this TV for a different one.

Besides the size difference, the Sony has the ATSC 3 tuner for NextGen TV and upcoming OTA broadcasts. Both the audio and picture quality are outstanding and the Google TV interface plus Google Assistant makes for a very enjoyable viewing experience for movies. It was a choice between this and the LG C1 and this had the features that I wanted. Purchased the Sony backlit remote which is a nice upgrade from the one which came with the TV.

I replaced my 42” LED with a 65” OLED when I did a major home remodel. The clarity and vibrant colors are incredible. I was debating on getting a sound bar and decided not to. The speakers are fine with me. Highly recommend this OLED.
