I originally had an LG OLED C1 and recieved two defective tvs before I gave up on them. Plus the detail of the Sony is unbeatable. Save yourself a headache and money, Do Not buy an LG OLED. I do have a rocking system so Ive only tested the tvs sound once. If you cant afford the extra sound this tv is the wat to go imo. Sony A80J.

I don't like that the picture dims when paused. I suppose it is to preserve the display. Not a big deal, but, I just don't like it. Also, when muted, sometimes I like to turn the sound back on by turning it down. You can't do that on this TV. You have to press volume up or press the mute button again.

Surprisingly the sound quality is great for such a thin TV. Thought I'd have to get a sound bar to be able to hear it. Eventually I'll probably go surround sound.

Was nervous about an OLED and burn in but all is well so far and using like a normal TV. Love the snappy & responsive menus and streaming services work so much better than my much older Sony Bravia due to the faster CPU buried in this TV. The sound quality is great too, even with the novel speaker tech.

Excellent color and clear picture. The new sound technology that works within the oled panel sounds good, but it would be better if you could add a woofer directly to the TV for better base. So you still need a soundbar for higher quality sound.

Sony also has a nice bonus of letting you redeem 5 free movies on their Bravia core app. I’ve also had a blast playing video games on this tv. The only problem I’ve had is that it sometimes loses WiFi connection. It was easily addressed by connecting it to Ethernet.

It's fabulous. I thought the 65" I purchased in the A80J series would be a step down, but it's not.
