Fabulous picture and outstanding sound out of the box for me. I have never owned anything but Sony TV’s since the 70’s. The picture is amazingly clear, watching a 4k movie is like being their. I cant speak for sound quality, as I have a Harman Kardon enchant 1300 soundbar and sub. You will not be disappointed with this tv.

It replaced a Sony X900F, which was a nice TV, but the blooming in HDR content was distracting at times. This TV obviously doesn’t have that issue. It does everything better than the X900F. Gaming, movies, tv shows all look awesome. The sound is really good too. Don’t even need a soundbar.

Picture quality was obvious even when switched from a high performance TV only three years old. The only downside is in a well lit room the brightness is not ideal. One recommendation is that you look up TV setting optimization recommendations for this TV to get that extra pop beyond the factory settings

After doing some research, the decision came down to this or the LG C1. With a darker room (less sunlight), I went with the Bravia which works great. Lastly, I have another Bravia that is close to 10 years old which is still working great.

Great Picture, but sound problems

Sound dropping out on apps in particular. Portions of shows lose thier sound. Using other devices to access apps has been a work around. Sound dropped out of cable last night. I also could not get sound to my receiver using HDMI and had to use an optical cable instead. That works, but I shouldn;t have to do that. I have reset a couple times and will likely try a factory reset next. Its frustrating to have such a basic function fail on a TV of this caliber.
