    Took the jump to the 65" A80J from a 42" Plasma that I loved. I watch mostly at night so I was concerned about detail in the dark ranges and motion. So far, the Sony has blown my mind and exceeded my expectations. I added a Sonos Arc sound bar and it is the perfect complement to the Sony. My only thought is that maybe I should have gone larger.

    Picture is great, but I have had numerous sound issues. Sound dropping out on apps in particular. Portions of shows lose thier sound. Using other devices to access apps has been a work around. Sound dropped out of cable last night. I also could not get sound to my receiver using HDMI and had to use an optical cable instead. That works, but I shouldn;t have to do that. I have reset a couple times and will likely try a factory reset next. Its frustrating to have such a basic function fail on a TV of this caliber.

    I purchased the LG C1 OLED originally but i felt like i was missing something so i ended up returning it and paying the difference for the A80J instead and in my opinion there is no competition right now for this TV besides the more expensive A90J but with this TV you will still get 90% of the A90J’s picture quality

    After much searching, viewing and reading, this Sony is one of the best TV's available today. This latest version has everything we wanted. Beautiful picture, great controls, sound is ok. We did upgrade to a sound bar though. Went on sale a BB and ordered right away.

    While it is expensive, you get what you pay for: The deepest blacks of any TV Great color reproduction Fast UI Impossibly excellent viewing angles Strong native audio performance (although if you're spending this much on a tv, go ahead and get yourself a soundbar at minimum) No complaints here.

    I haven’t had it for long but from what I’ve seen so far it’s great. I was afraid of the 65” being too large but I think I made the right choice. The biggest thing I’d say is the sound is AMAZING. Unless you have a gigantic room, the speakers that come with the TV are more than enough and you’ll never need a sound bar.

    This is the best TV I have ever owned. I came form the top of the line Panasonic plasma (2013). OLED is the way to go. I have had no trouble with light issues. Only consider the Sony 90J if you have a VERY bright room. I have Levolor Blinds on my bay window, and even full daylight does not impact the picture when they are closed.

    Picture is stunning no matter where you are sitting. Excellent sound without using a sound bar. I have mine in a room with out any direct sun light. I was considering lg, and Samsung along with Sony but after seeing them side by side I thought Sony was the best choice. Very happy with my decision.

    I had the A9G - 55", an older iteration. Loved that set. But, shockingly, the panel failed. Best Buy was awesome, replacing it with a "technological equal" ... which would have beed the A90J - in 55#. But they let me go up in size to the 65", trading off the 90J for the 80J. Don't regret it!

    This tv has a beautiful picture. The colors are very natural, and the picture is bright enough for my well-lit room. I am not using a sound bar, yet the sound is very good, much better than any previous tv I have had. I have only had it one week, but it works great, and I have not experienced any problems.

    Great viewing experience, the picture is gorgeous and it is a please to watch. Set up was a bit difficult as we are older and getting the feet into the right position and lifting the heavy screen was a challenge. I would have paid for the set up if I had to do it over again. Otherwise, no complaints. I highly recommend this TV.
