Bigger Truly Is Better

Coming from an 8 Year Old Vizio. Picture is night and day. Didn't know technology improved this much at an affordable price. Sound quality is pretty good. I am adding a soundbar. But, if you don't have the space or money you can save the purchase of added audio equipment.

Crystal clear picture

Once you bought it, adjust few picture settings to get the most of what Sony has to offer. Feels delicate but I guess its not. Sometimes it gets stuck but not a very prominent issue. Make sure you get the BB standard geek squad protection

Clarity but not over the top brightness

My wife was worried the picture would be too bright and give her a headache, because are room isn't huge and the tv is. But this tv has clarity but not over the top brightness. So if you are a fan of super bright, maybe not for you

Sony A80J OLED 65"

After reading the reviews, I purchased the Sony OLED. The color is excellent out of the box and after a minor tweaking, the color looks even better. It's great the stand is adjustable (LG stand is fixed). My Bose 700 soundbar fits perfectly under the tv.

The tv sound is even pretty good ever without a sound bar. I wish the remote buttons were a little bigger. Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst TV ever so many problems since I got it which was a year ago main issue is that it doesn’t not want to stay connected to Wi-Fi it’s not that my Wi-Fi is bad (not to mention I’m paying my internet service provider for the best and fastest Wi-Fi they offer) all my other smart tvs including laptop’s always stay connected to Wi-Fi only this sony tv has a Wi-Fi problem also tends to get stuck and frozen sometimes I have to disconnect the whole thing from the power since the remote doesn’t want to work either I really hate this tv and it’s finally gotten to the point where I’m going to be buying a new one and different brand for sure. Horrible sony tv waste of money!!!

Only one small issue i have is it seems to give me an issue when switching my inputs for gaming consoles. It says no connection unless i unplug HDMI and re-plug it back in if the TV has been on for a while. Other than that its perfect and fast

The only issue I have run into in the 2 months I've owned it, is that it has disconnected from the internet 2 or 3 times even though it is wired in. I found that if you just do a quick 20-second restart it fixes it.

Great picture with wonky software

Id say the only problem is a few times a week ill press the power button on the remote and the light on the tv will turn on but the panel wont turn on, it takes about a minute and the light turns off and then i can press the power button and it works, pretty annoying but it still works, hopefully its just a software thing that will be fixed in the future

The power buttons on the TV and the remote won't work during this short period of time, and the LED or illumination LED won't light up right away. This is normal operation. Love my Sony Bravia TV

We stream exclusively and love this TV when download speeds or apps are good. The picture is great then. When either is not, however, you can't tell a difference. There is less glare with this TV though so that's a positive as well.

Great Oled TV

Would say the LG is a little better for gaming (lower input latency) but the Sony is better TV and Movies. Built in speakers are ok if you are in a pinch.

We do get some reflection when the picture has some black sections in it. We have windows some distance from the tv. I can’t comment on the sound quality because we have a sound bar hooked up to the tv. I would recommend this tv.
