Amazing TV. Didnt realize what I was missing until i bought this tv. Beautiful picture with easy setup and user friendly. Loved it so much, I bought the newer version for another room. The integration with the PS5 is a bonus.

As perfect a picture as I have ever seen. Brightness, contrast, motion, and ease of use is near perfect. Great for sports, and any fast moving objects in view. like it better than OLED Makes cable tv at 1080I even look great near 4K! great purchase . Love it!

This Bravia A80J(2021) OLED 4K UHD tv from Sony is amazing! I've been planning to get a 65" Sony OLED tv in the last 3-4 years and I'm so happy it worth the wait, I got the Best OLED tv on the market today, according to some of the specialized Home Theater magazines at an extraordinary Black Friday price at Best Buy (you're the best). I learned about the picture quality of OLED tv panels and I'm a loyal SONY customer because their products quality never disappointed me. This is an upgrade from my 65" SONY X900F LCD (the best LCD tv by the time I purchased it) and WOW! the difference is stunning, night-and-day. Perfect blacks, excellent contrast and beautiful colors with the ultimate processing technology make this TV the best on its class. Please note that I'm not a gamer so as a moviegoer I'm sure that this is the best OLED tv you can get.

The TV is beautifully boxed and was easy to unbox and install. I have mine on the regular base, but there are screw sockets for wall mounting. The picture quality with a clean 4k input is excellent; the blacks are black to the point where it's hard to tell where the picture ends and the surround bevel begins. For regular TV, the picture, is as good as my much loved Samsung LED that it replaces. Sound quality is decent, but don't expect it to provide the immersive sound a proper surround system would provide. I'd rate the software as good and setup was intuitive. I wish the remote was backlit; I like to watch in a darkened room and it's hard to see the buttons. I'm satisfied with my new Sony and can recommend it as a top pick in it's class.

I really like this T.V. ive had it for about 6 months now and cant complain. Shows are great and so are games on the PS5. They work so good together. Super simple to set-up and hands down best performance ive seen yet!

Excellent tv clear vibrant picture, True OLED brightness but also great contrast

I have a wide viewing area and after reviewing all the different formats I chose the OLED. Also, I chose the Sony over the LG mainly because the Sony had less screen reflectivity and the TV was for my family room which has several windows. One of the complaints I read for OLED's was about the brightness, but after tweeking some settings per online blogs, etc., I find the brightness perfectly acceptable. Perhaps it's because I'm replacing a 12 year old 55" Samsung LCD. Bottom line -- the picture is awesome! I don't do gaming but for movies and general cable broadcast viewing it is unbelievable.

I’ve had this tv for several months now and it is fantastic. The picture quality is great along with the ease of use. The apps are quick to load and with some of my most used apps, having dedicated buttons on the remote, you don’t have to go back to the menu to search for a new app. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an excellent picture with beautiful colors and 120hz refresh rate, at a phenomenal price to pick this one up if you can.

Great tv. Superb picture.great features. Sound is at another level for a tv. In screen adjustments are super easy to navigate. The detail in the picture is just phenomenal.there are more than enough inputs. And the optical output can be selected or set to auto. Great for steaming devices hooked to tv running sound through surround sound. This is a high end product backed by Sony quality.brightness of tv is very close to a Sony led in nits. So don’t let salesman tell you that you need dark tv room. That’s hogwash.

I have a 55" X930E which at the time (2018) was second best after the Z9. Only issue is side angle viewing which is horrid. Started to look around and considered several models/brands and it came down to being on the fence between the 65" X95J and the 65" A80J. Having had a gorgeous plasma in the past, it was a no brainer to go with the A80J when it went on sale last month at $1799.00!!! Was a tad worried about the brightness vs the A90J, but having watched it for the last month, I can honestly say it's not even noticeable and plenty bright. Very happy with my choice, picture is outstanding and up-scaling 720p/1080p is very, very good (YTTV)....absolutely love this TV!!! My X930E is now wall mounted in the bedroom where side viewing is moot. My only gripe with the A80J is Bluetooth. Paired my AirPod Pros and the volume is not adjustable. The Bluetooth volume display moves with terrible lag on the screen while volume on AirPods does not change up or down. Works flawlessly on the X930. Hoping this might be a known issue and a future update will take care of the Bluetooth issue. If you are on the fence about the A80J, just do it...you will not regret it!

I absolutely love this tv. Sony’s interface in previous years was not appealing to me at all, but since they changed it it is much nicer and user friendly. The picture is incredible, and offers so many customization options. The sound is also surprisingly great compared to most flat screen tvs. I picked this tv based on R8tings.com review for what’s best paired with a PS5, and at the time it was number 1. So far, I cannot disagree. It is simply amazing.

Have had this for over 2 years and the image quality blows my mind every time I watch anything on it. But, if you have 4K access to anything, the picture just elevates to another level. So crisp and clear. The only negative is that I wished I bought the 75 inch!

It seems that no matter what display you are looking for, OLED is the way to go. I really don't see any cons with this technology. And Sony did a great job with this model. The screen is plenty bright and the picture is amazing. While the price is on the high side, this TV is one of the best values when it comes to OLED technology compared to the much more expensive models which in my opinion, gives only modest improvements. It is also future proof with 2 ports with HDMI 2.1 and a tuner capable of receiving 4K content from over the air channels. Just keep in mind that whatever the factor you consider in buying a TV, screen size is most important. My only regret from my previous television purchases is that I should have gone bigger. The 65 inch is great for my living room. And I would recommend this size as the minimum if you want a TV with an immersive experience in your living room. The sound on this TV is impressive and I don't feel the need to add a soundbar to it. If you are on the market for a TV with a perfect value of quality and value, this is the one to get!

Pretty fab unit. Like the Google interface, great picture using YouTubeTV (and even better in 4k - like now w the World Cup), easy to set things up. It's been awhile since I had a Sony tv, but they've earned my trust here. One con: very, very, very occasionally the unit gets 'stuck' and we need to completely pull the plug (which isn't easy given my setup) to reset.

I’ve been a Sony TV fan for 40+ years and wow have their TVs evolved. This OLED TV has a great picture with true colors, vivid blacks and lots of depth. The only drawback would be it looks best at night and the brightness could be a tad higher when the room is well lighted. We have this in the 65” model and mounted in family room. We love it and are very happy with the purchase.

First off I am Not a tech expert and neither is my husband but we set it up with no problems whatsoever. It is a very high quality tv with a great picture and sound. It comes with GoogleTV which is terrific but you can also add Roku or Apple TV with hdmi cords if you like. It’s great that it has 4 hdmi ports unlike my previous tv which had 2. Get this tv especially with Black Friday deals going on this week!

Quite possible the best picture quality on any TV I have ever owned. Incredible contrast ratio, inky black levels, and accurate color reproduction. Even though I use a sound bar with the TV, the actual TV has above average sound reproduction.
