I finally upgraded my old 2017 Sony X800E to the Sony A95L 65” QD-OLED, and I can confidently say… this is the best TV I’ve ever owned. The X800E served me well, but it was edge-lit, limited in contrast, and lacked true HDR impact. The A95L? It’s in a whole different universe. Picture quality is jaw-dropping , the blacks are pure black, colors pop with insane vibrancy, and everything is buttery smooth thanks to the high refresh rate and XR processor. Whether I’m watching movies in Dolby Vision or gaming on PS5, the clarity and dynamic range blow me away every time. The QD-OLED panel brings out detail in shadows and highlights I didn’t even know I was missing. I paired it with my Sonos sound system (Arc + Era 300s + Sub), and now my living room is a full-on movie theater. With Dolby Atmos support, the sound wraps around you crisp dialogue, booming bass, and 3D surround that makes every scene feel alive. If you’re considering the A95L, do it. It’s the ultimate upgrade, especially when paired with a quality audio setup. Sony absolutely nailed this.

I got this for a crazy discount when my Sony A90j crapped the bed with an unfixable horizontal line across the screen ( I know, the timing couldn’t have been better). To no ones surprise, Sony’s craftsmanship is still head and shoulder above the competition. I’m beyond happy until this point with my purchase. The image and colors are eye-searingly beautiful- more than vivid and punchy even during the day with the sun bombarding me. The sound is great but becomes theater-esque when you connect it with a sound system. Looking forward to making many memories with this until the wheels fall off.

Excellent TV and my third Master series Sony, second OLED, I purchased their LED model before the last two OLEDs. First, total nonsense about OLED not being bright enough, I actually toned my brightness down on this one and I have a five panel 10’ tall multi slide door in living room where it’s located and even with the morning sun, it’s plenty bright enough. Clarity and color is outstanding and out of the box you’ll find a picture setting you’ll love without an extra step of calibration. Well maybe tweek here or there. Sony has done a great job with its stand legs too, allowing height and placement to allow for sound bars and quality of construction is exceptional. Last the panel surface acting as speaker is the best out of the box tv sound of all the brands. Menu is easy to use and I’ve had no problems with Android last 10 years since buying my first flagship Sony model. Their TVs haven’t disappointed or had any pixel issues, defects or failures. I will continue to make Sony OLED my first choice. A close second would be Sony’s Mini LED Bravia 9.

Sony did it again. It’s unbelievable how amazing the picture quality looks on this tv. Every aspect of the image is exceptional. I bought the top of line back in 2015, and I only purchased this one because I started seeing lines on the screen after moving into my new house. After researching for a replacement (and getting lost down an OLED rabbit hole), I decided it was indeed time to upgrade. I was excited to see this model in person, but the model wasn’t on display when I came in, so I had to take a leap of faith and trust my gut. Now, I’m not one to sling money around like it’s bacon bits. I’m a conservative spender. That said, though the price tag was heftier than other less expensive models, this tv is worth every penny. I am rewatching movies I’ve seen before, and it’s like I’m watching a completely different movie. It’s a phenomenal picture. I had excellent surround sound already, so now that I’m in visual and auditory heaven, I can no longer see myself “slumming it” at the movie theater. It’s been weeks since it arrived, and I still feel giddy over watching anything at all. I even watched a baking show (and I abhor baking shows) because of how the Halloween colors popped off the screen. I couldn’t be happier.

Sony 65" BRAVIA XR A95L OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV Model #XR65A95L To start with, I opted for Home Installation. Brian and Manny from Best Buy just left. While they were busy with the install, I was able to prop-up my feet and get my own work done [see photo]. I highly recommend Best Buy’s HOME INSTALL. While it may seem like an unnecessary ‘extra’ on top of what you’re already shelling out for a new [insert your product name here], it has always saved me time, money, and my sanity. Heck, for those of us with high blood pressure Home Install might even save our life *wink* I don’t know about you, but vague instructions, misaligned holes, or missing parts can really ‘test my patience’ even on a good day :-) Even though I AM technically savvy, the peace of mind I get with Home Install ($99+/-) is priceless: two highly knowledgeable installers transport, handle, hang, and program our TV. I don’t have to worry about dropping it, cracking the highly sensitive screen, pieces not fitting properly, missing parts, or reading allll of the instructions on how to program it or how to add/pair additional remotes. I know it will get done right and get done quickly — very quickly. As always. With Home Install NONE OF THAT IS YOUR CONCERN (oh look, there’s my smile!). If the item breaks/gets damaged during transport or install Best Buy’s got it covered, which is nice to know given smartTVs have such highly sensitive screen surfaces. And they always send two techs, making install super quick. They were done in about 20 minutes, which included unboxing, taking down the old 73” flatscreen, hanging the new tv, hooking-up the new tv, programming it, pairing the Roku remote, showing me some of the Sony remote functions, and removal of the packaging if you don’t wish to keep it. When they left they said I could contact them any time if I had any Qs or issues. Who knew that’d be just two minutes later, after they’d just left for their next appointment? I sent them a frantic text and they offered to come back when done with their current install (thank you!). Even though it was getting late, they drove back out and fixed the issue (a simple conflict with our home audio setup which they diagnosed in about 30 seconds!). Two minutes after arriving they were back out the door, and we had an amazing, quality tv that worked. Simply put, Geek Squad Home Install removes all of the anxiety while saving me time. As for my review of this product: It’s super lightweight, making it easy to hang; and the picture quality is excellent. But since this was only installed today, I’ll update this post in a few months after I’ve had time to really use it.

Excellent TV. Not the brightest but extremely clean picture. Black levels are fantastic. Picture looks very natural a little overpriced.

Great TV, the picture is awesome, sound is good, and interface is excellent. My only two complaints are pertaining to the physical layout of the TV and its stand. I wanted to use my existing table which is not quite as wide as the TV so I was unable to use the included stands. Also, didn't like how the inputs are way over one one side of the TV. It created a messy look with those cables running down through the clamp designed for them at the bottom left of the TV. I remedied this by cutting a small hole in the plastic cover to route those cables through then over to the center of the TV so they would be hidden behind the center stand I bought to replace the stand brackets that came with the TV.

The single best TV I’ll ever owned, and I’m a nerd when it comes to TVs. I look for the best picture quality and sound, this has both!! I use the TV as a center channel for my surround sound system. LOVE IT!!

This TV is high quality and such a good deal. I wish I would have gotten 2 of these.

This is my first ever oled and im absolutely amazed by the picture quality and brightness of this tv! Its gets super bright and the picture is so clear and the colors are out if this world!! Highly recommend anyone looking for a new oled it might be pricey but definitely worth the money

IO have had different tv brands in the past and I hands down recommend this tv. Granted the price is high but you get what you pay for. the remote works great and is backlit. also comes with a camea so you can use "gestures" to turn the vol up and down, change the channel as well as turn off the tv. graphics are absolutely stunning. has 15GB or 17GB (i forget which one) of internal memory.

This tv was truly one of the best tvs in 2023-2024 cycle. The color and blacks are superb when color calibrated. Adding on, the tv having all the best dolby and dts sound formats is very convenient for my onkyo receiver. The HDR and dolby vision picture quality looks marvelous when watching fils like netflixs 6 underground and disney plus movies. HDTVTest is great at revewing the tv and describing that the pros outweighed the cons.

Does it get any better? once again, Sony Knox at all the park with his fantastic TV.

Easy to set up, the picture looks amazing! I’m not too familiar with the google interface but I think I will get used to it. The sound is amazing , the speakers are in the screen. This tv was made for the PS5! The remote is sleep and durable . I’m happy with this set so far.

Was sold to me as a 2024 model. After my purchase I read up on the TV, to my surprise it’s a 2023 set. I basically felt lied to. Overall TV is very good.

I'm coming from the Samsung 2013 flagship F8000, 1080p LED, so this Sony OLED blows that one away in picture quality. Not so much with the built-in speakers though. They're ok, but not as good as my old tv. I was expecting better sound coming from Sony. Not a big deal for me though, I've got the Sony - HT-A7000 soundbar and subwoofer connected to it and it sounds great. I've only owned this tv for 4 weeks, but so far it's amazing. Beautiful picture quality and amazing colors. One thing I do dislike is the fact it only has two 4K 120hz HDMI outputs and it should have at least three for a flagship tv. The cheaper TV's have two. I've also had the latest software updates with no issues. Over all I'm pretty satisfied with this tv. Let's hope it last a while. I'm taking away one star for the lack of HDMI 120hz outputs, lackluster of the built-in speakers and not to mention it's insanely overpriced.

Pros: Extremely bright and darks are perfect dark. Full of color out of the of the box. Excellent cable management with the inserts and waffle cone on the back. The tv itself feels very sturdy. Im coming from a 2019 sony full array led to this, its amazing. The 2 120gh hdmi’s is nice obviosuly wish it had more. Cons: for a flagship tv id expect it to run like a race horse but it does not. The remote feels like very fragile. Made of very cheap parts. Only nice thing about the remote is it detects movement and lights up at night. Back to running slow, the tv, the menus i defect lag in the inputs from the time i press the buttons until the command is received its noticeably slow. Ive had multiple unrecoverable freezes. The whole screen turns grey and there’s a noticeable divide in the middle. I’ve had directv on and the picture froze on the tv and i power cycled the tv box and the tv retained the image until i unplugged the tv for 5mins. May be stupid to most but the led indicator feature is totally broken. The indicator is full on, unless you go in every time you turn it off manually. The sound? What sound ? This thing has speakers? :( i don’t expect home theater expensive speakers but when i have sensitive hearing and i can’t hear squat, and theres no real options that help boost the overall sound just vocal boost and its weak. Surround sound is bad. Id rather have the 4 - 10mw speakers from my old tv that had complete software failure after multiple motherboard replacements. Wait a year or two for a sale if you can. I couldn’t. Its a great gaming TV for xbox with 120hz and for those who like built in crosshairs and other gaming features. I hope they address these out of the box 1 update in, failures. To spend this much and so much on the warranty i expected way better,In terms of reliability. From Sony’s flagship tv. More to come, if i can figure out this new reviewing system, this is a nightmare i can’t even see what in typing thanks best buy i have to hit done and re read repeatedly. Also,i don’t see photo uploads so i cant show some of the faulty stuff I’ve recorded. My main fear other than a tv software death, again, is burn in but so far moderate use and no image retention. Dont expect to see any for a good long while. I Hope to update and re-rate the tv in future if that’s even a thing anymore. One last thing, there’s a noticeably loud click sound, like capacitors powering up the tv in the right hand side where, you guessed it the power plug; plugs in., which is super scary to me. Thats how all 5 of my samsung tv’s bit the dust (over the course of 2007 to now.). Motherboard/power failire issues.

What a TV!! Entertainment at its best. Love tha app and way faster than my old Sony tv that I still have that has gone to another room. Graphics are fantastic on the entertainment center. I have the the Sony 7000 with the subwoofer and rear speakers. Sounds fantastic!!

This is the best TV you can get, I've had Samsung and LGs top of the line tvs nothing compares. Even the the Samsung that had the same panel looks, worse even my girlfriend could tell, id still get a soundbar or system to maximize the experience
