This TV takes movie viewing to a whole new level. I watched Planet Earth 2 again and seen details never aeen before on my TCL 6 series from 2017. Also, I don’t have to struggle to see what is going on when watching dark shows like the Expanse in a bright room.

You can't out-TV a Sony TV. The store help for this online purchase was very awsome.

Purchased a Sony A95L, after looking at this expensive/flagship model for quite some time. I have always had very good luck with Sony products, and this is no exception, so far. This particular item was an open box, listed as excellent. It was the only one showing within at least a couple hundred mile range. Open Box, Excellent, was described as, "Looks brand new, Includes all parts/accessories, and Typically contains packaging". After trying to call the store directly, trying multiples ways to get thru, it was determined that you can no longer actually call a store directly, but always get routed to a call center. Like all companies that seem to want to make it difficult to get thru to an actual person, let alone one that is more local, that is not a positive arrangement. After deciding to drive the roughly 140 miles to that store, and carefully measuring to make sure that this TV box would fit inside of a full-size SUV (after considering renting a van or pickup), when getting to the store, they rolled out the TV wrapped in bubble wrap (with no original packaging). Based on the discounted price, I decided to take the chance and get it. Upon getting it home and removing the bubble wrap and plastic wrap, I was able to see several fingerprints around the edges, mostly where someone might hold it in order to carry it, but definitely more than one would expect. It also had a few minor marks on the screen. After researching how to clean an OLED screen, which most information indicates should be done very carefully, I undertook that task. After using a mild vinegar water mixture and a couple microfiber cloths, it looked better, but in the right light still had some fingerprint residue, and minor marks. All of this made me wonder, what kind of people buy a TV this expensive, and actually touch the screen that much. Why bother buying a TV of that caliber, and then treat it that way? It really makes no sense! Anyway, as black as the screen is, when turned on, the picture is great, and you really cannot see any of this. The TV itself is absolutely superb! Best Buy did have an excellent price, as an open box item (particularly for a fairly new and flagship model)! The manufacturers should definitely not make screens that are that susceptible to fingerprints and marks, on a material that is then very difficult to actually clean. But, that is not the fault of Best Buy. From a maintenance and durability standpoint, the glass screens of an older Plasma TV make far more sense. I have been a regular buyer of Best Buy for a long time, and have bought a wide variety of products, and have always had good experiences (at least for the things that they can control). Even though I felt that there were a few hiccups, that is the real world. I would definitely recommend Best Buy, and Sony.

This TV has amazing picture quality and sound. Very easy to set up, modern design, and perfect for movies and sports. Definitely one of the best options in the market. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from the A80L to the A95L I was able to find an open box for a lower price! Love the fact that Best Buy had that option! A95L has the brightness I was looking for and the best picture! Great tv for watching all movies!

Thru allot of research, I determined that this model is what I wanted. On sale, I bought it. I am happy that I did.

This is an amazing TV, so glad i purchased it. Was looking at the Bravia 8 ii as well, but ultimately choose the King of all TV's

Beautiful picture. Blacks are amazing. Upscaling of old OTA shows is great. Try watching hockey. It's fantastic.

Colors are outstanding, didn't know red could be so red on this TV, same for all the other colors. The dynamic range is also impressive. This unit is replacing a 2015 Sony Bravia I thought was impressive when I bought it, no comparison the A95L is incredible, well done Sony.

The picture on this TV is crystal clear. I have this TV in my basement area, and while there are windows, the area looking outside the windows is to a covered patio area (which then leads to my backyard). I make mention of this because the sun/lighting into my basement is not really a factor (as it relates to glare, etc.). My previous TV was a 3D Sharp Aquos from 2012 and the sound from that TV was nothing to write home about. When I maxed out the sound on that one, while sufficient for the room, it was one of the weaker features on that TV. I have a Vizio sound bar attached to this Sony Bravia, which is fantastic. But even if I didn't have the sound bar, the sound coming out of the Sony unit is just awesome. The only short-coming is the limited USB ports, but for me--I remedied that issue by using a USB hub.

Have been very happy with the great picture quality and sound from my Sony Bravia. Ease of set up was just a bonus. Will definitely by Sony in the future!!

Incredible picture and performance! The interface is super easy to use for anyone in the household. One of the best features is the ability to adjust video settings for any of the applications/ streaming service. Only down side I have noticed frequently is the “Ok Google/AI” feature. The TV picks up the slightest saying of “ok” or “google” and the google assistant pauses anything you are watching. It’s a nuisance when trying to watch movies or while watching sports. Other than that, the TV picture is incredible for any viewing (gaming, movies, or regular TV) and makes up for the google assistant bugs. The Home Screen is easy to use especially for those who are not super tech savvy going from app to app. The TV speakers get the job done but you typically don’t buy a TV for the sound.

There was a time when Sony was the best. Then they seem to let the industry surpass them. Sony was one of the first adopters of 4K and they know how to do it. This television has deep blacks and vibrant colors. It blows away most of the other TV’s out there. I had a Samsung 65” before and wasn’t too happy with it. The image wasn’t always stable on it.

Best TV I’ve seen in my 27 years of living. I’ll be honest, when I first took it out of the box (open box - excellent), I was reluctant as it was still a hefty price. When I first tried it out, I wasn’t blown away to be completely honest. Took about a week of additional scouring of Reddit, fiddling with settings myself to finally settle with subjectively the best settings.

Amazing picture clear audio and easy to use. The google TV can be a little clunky and lack of native apple music is a downside but airplay is supported just no lossless audio without an apple tv or other item like a ps5

Great clarity. True blacks and whites. No visible pixilation. Much improved Xfinity remote. The only Con so far is the time required to switch venues.

The A95L is a great TV with an incredible HDR experience. Sony’s motion handling and upscaling technologies also add to the overall improved picture presentation while the QD-OLED panel handles colors in dim and bright scenes perfectly. I only noticed some very minor screen inconsistencies, such as a “dirty screen effect” during low-lit side panning scenes, but it’s not noticable every time. Overall, the tv is an exceptional choice and it provides a superior viewing experience when compared to WOLED TVs; it’s worth the price premium over other flagship OLED TVs from other brands.
