I can't give an exact date of when this started happening but maybe about 4 months ago. It will sometimes crash or apps will close out of nowhere. The picture is beautiful, but the GoogleTV system on my TV seems to be doing not so well. It may be a one time issue as my parents have an older Sony with GoogleTV and it seems to be alright. I may have received that 1 in 100,000 that is a bit screwy. I would also prefer to be able to buy a replacement remote directly from Sony but they don't seem to have one and I had to go to Amazon to find a replacement.

The only negative part is the legs unlike my previous master series XPR 4K that had legs to hide the cables this model there’s no place to hide them. They don’t even have clips I came with my bedroom TV, VX 80 to conceal the wires, so other than that extremely happy with the picture great price a closeout price because of the new models are coming out and have comment

It does have a great picture but also has a lot of glare in a well lit room like I have. I'd recommend this for a basement theater.

I thought it was going to be much better but maybe I'm not a big TV brat. It's great but I don't know if the upgrade I made was much of a leap. Went from TCL 65R615 to this. I wasn't able to compare side by side but I was able to see a difference in the darkness. You can see the lights if the background, not nearly OLED level but it's good enough. Blacks are blacker than normal TV, but that's it. I don't see it being much bright, better colors or anything. I love Google's UI though, million times better than Roku.

Unhappy... feels like a downgrade from my old Sony

If you're like me and replacing the older model of this TV because you love the one you have now....don't. I just needed a bigger screen now and thought this is a great tv I'll just get the newest version. Rep told me menu functionality was the same as my current Sony....not even close. I can't customize the content on the main screen like I could before. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to give you less control over your own Home screen, but they should be fired. You used to be able to pick which apps showed on your main screen and go to the left and change the order that they appeared then you could also tell the TV what apps appeared on the play next or continue watching. This model has YouTube way at the top and you don't even have a way to remove that section. Another problem is the storage. I never had one problem in almost 6 years on my old Sony and I'm already getting messages about storage is almost gone and I have used less apps so far on this TV. We have played with every sound setting and feature that this TV has to offer and there's nothing you can do to be able to hear the dialogue clearly without turning up high then the TV when something major happens all of a sudden busting your ear drums. So frustrating I just wanted my same TV but bigger.

Lost remote control functions a couple of days ago out of the blue. Unplug for a minute, plug back in and everything is fine again. Same remedy for a couple of other MINOR issues in the past 4 months since purchase. Hopefully future software updates will fix the issues. Aside from that this is a GREAT TV. Picture quality, sound quality, all better than most comparable in size and price. Wish it had a better bass response would be my only negative comment I guess.

Thank you Best Buy. For us, it offers everything need to enjoy Streaming and Antenna TV. Love the picture quality and the sound is just as good. The TV offers all the controls to adjust the set to your liking, The set was well boxed and very easy to unbox and install the feet. The only disappointment was the user manual, had to consult the web for answers to questions.

I use AppleTV 4K, Playstation 5 and Nintendo switch on this TV and all look incredible! I don't use the Google TV part of it, but looks like it'd work well. Picture is fantastic from any angle, even far off to the side. Built in speakers are also surprisingly good. Get this TV.
