Got it for $999 and it preforms amazingly for that price point. The series X looks great on it and HDR content is chefs kiss. Lot the snappiness of the apps as well. Hard to find a TV with hdmi 2.1 at this price point so am very pleased!

One Annoying Issue

The attached picture is an example during a golf match where the ball is in the air with a fairly consistent background. Best Buy graciously exchanged my first TV for another one to see if this would go away but unfortunately it didn't. Sony tech support has been very responsive but it's not clear if they fully understand the issue since they don't have a way I can accurately describe or send them this picture as an example. Very frustrating since it only seems to show up in live action scenes. Otherwise, the Sony picture has nice color rendering. This TV is in our family room and even with the shutters partially closed, the screen is susceptible to glare. Other than that, it seems to be a fairly good medium priced set.
