To my surprise, i unboxed the heavy TV, only to find out that the screws for the stand were missing, ok fine. And THEN, i turned on the TV, try to get through the bravia menu, and it would promptly shut down the entire tv, with glitches and screen lines throughout the screen. I was thorougly disappointed with Best Buys mishandling of this TV. It should have never been on the floor, and should have thrown out. Sigh. I will never buy anything off the floor from Best Buy ever again.

My only major problem is this. My 88 year old mother lives with me and is nearly deaf. For many years, we have used a Sharper Image set of TV earphones for her so she can turn up the volume to the level where she can hear it, and I do not have to listen to it that loudly. This device needs an earphone jack on the TV (or at least a right and left audio out plug). This new TV I just bought does not have either of those connections, I guess because those are "old fashioned" and not technically advanced enough. The GEEK squad installer figured out by how to have my mother's TV earphones work by using the optical connection. But when that is in use, I cannot listen using the expensive sound bar I just bought to go with the TV. I have to listen only with the TV speakers. Why can't SONY just have left the earphone jack????

Don’t know what the speakers sound like since I use a soundbar. Haven’t had to mess with settings much either. Great right out of the box.

Emails from Best Buy somewhat confusing as they implied more service than provided. Delivery was limited to placing the box put prep email for delivery implied more service by telling me to have internet information ready at delivery.

Ok, just not OLED

I tried tweaking the settings as much as possible, but the blacks were still only dark gray, and blooming annoyed me. I returned it for an LG C3. Better in every way.
