    Been a loyal customer of. Loyal to Sony tv for 20 plus years.Disappointed in the sharpness of color with this model. Alot of hype about mini LED. My 10yr old Sony has a much better quailty picture.

The picture settings of the TV is fully adjustable depending in your preference. The Picture settings allow a wide array of color, contrast, motion settings, and brightness changes that can improve the viewed content on your TV.

    Buggy, no real fix offered from Sony Support.

    If you want a tv that you need to unplug every few days to watch, this is the one for you. Sony’s troubleshooting team has me do just that every time I get a blank screen with sound. This happens often, and that is their remedy. I’m very very disappointed. I’m certain I received a lemon.

    Stay far away from this TV. For a premium product it is extremely overrated. The level of blooming on this TV is extraordinarily sad. I will never, ever buy a Sony again. Even contacted Sony support and they are giving me no support to fix.

    Great Product but Sketchy Price Match Policy

    Best Buy did not honor price match guarantee and you cannot speak to anyone, the salesperson or the manager, at the Hickory NC location.

    The TV display/motherboard died after 1 year and 4 months of ownership. When it worked, it was great. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue with Sony TVs. Might have to go back to Samsung.

      Hi AnastasiaS, we're sorry to hear that you have issues with your Sony unit. We will do our best to help you out. Please make your TV's software is updated to the latest version. This can resolve many issues including connectivity problems:

      •Restart your TV using the supplied remote control by pressing and holding the POWER button until 'Power off' appears on the screen, then press and hold the POWER button again until a menu appears and select 'Restart'.
      •Disconnect the power to your modem/router for at least one minute, then reconnect power and wait for your modem/router to complete its connection to the internet.
      •Please make sure that the router is placed near your TV and there are no walls or other wireless devices causing interference. The distance should ideally be no more than 25 feet.

    Bestbuy broke it before i could pick it up

    The tv would bave been great but best buy broke it when it it sat in the back for seven days while i was on a work trip

    I was a little nervous about spending so much money for a new TV. I've had good luck with Sony in the past and decided to go for it. I stopped at a Best Buy and the guy working the floor was really knowledgeable about it. He told me that the up-converting of the Sony is really good. I believed him when he showed me some sample 1080P content. It looked fantastic. We had the TV delivered and it's been great in every respect so far. The picture is nice and bright even in a south facing room. The sound quality is much better than I thought it would be and for our uses we don't need a soundbar or receiver. 1080P content up-converted looks fantastic. We don't do much real 4K content, but the sample channels that we have look good. The 4K channel we've seen is better than the upconverted stuff, but not as much as I would have expected. The TV is heavy and putting the stand on it was a bit of a struggle. We had to buy a new piece of furniture to support it, but so far I love it and would recommend it to my friends. We also bought the extended Geek Squad support in case anything goes wrong in the future. That's what the final piece that convinced me to buy it from Best Buy instead of someone else. Great peace of mind.

    Room full of light

    After taking care of my neighbors house watching TV on their 65” LG C3 series TV. I decided it was time to replace my 7 year old TLC 55” TV After hours of research, I decided on the Sony XR65-XL93L for my needs. I live in a older house with many large windows and only light filtering shades. The TV screen faces West so lots of natural light from the windows during the day. There is a 5’x7’ window 12’ from the face of the screen. My Neighbor with the LG has similar family room environment that I have. The Sony handles the lighting and glare issues much better than the LG. I do prefer the LG C3 better in a room with controlled darkish ambient light. It’s not a huge difference but the LG is better in a darker room The Sony has a beautiful picture and is really nice for my needs. Note: I’m basing this on Cinema Mode with Max brightness. I turn the brightness down at night time. I Don’t want give the impression this TV is a miracle TV and you will not see any reflections. Because you will. It’s just much better the my previous TVs and the LG OLED C3 in my environment. One last thing. I have no idea how the speakers sound. I use a quality Yamaha sound bar and never have listened to the TV speakers so I gave it 5 stars as not to knock the TVs rating down.

    Do a lot of gaming any one have any good settings to go off of for ps5 gaming i had oled tv was a blast but burn in happen so switch trying to get it to look oled some what im more in a dark room very little light thx
