Due to the characteristics of the LCD panel and the design of the X95J model series, it's easy to see the phenomenon on a monochrome still-picture. When the TV is installed with the top tilted back, this phenomenon is also easier to see. If it is installed and placed normally, the degree to which this phenomenon is noticed may be reduced. Lowering the contrast setting in the user menu may also make it less noticeable.
