DO NOT BUY SONY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please do not buy Sony. Within 2 years, we had problems with 2 of our Sony TVs purchased at Best Buy. After 2 years, the warranty is up, and Sony's customer service representative said that the only option they gave us is to find a service in our area. The closest one said it cost more to fix the TV, not worth it.

Terrible customer support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In late May of 2022, Sony sent an automatic software update that bricked my 2021 model TV so that it would no longer turn on. Sony support was not helpful with the repair that their software caused, resulting in a costly repair for my TV. I would strongly recommend not buying a Sony TV. Please like this message to spread the word to other consumers.

We regret to hear that you put your TV on a tree. This TV includes a light sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it in dark ones so you get the perfect view. However, the Sony TV should not install outdoors and do not install the TV in a vehicle, ship, or other vessels. The TV should not be exposed to rain or direct sunlight in order to avoid damage and possible fire or electric shock.
Also, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. The actual display may vary or some settings may not be available depending on your model/country/region and the content you are watching. Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.
