The TV has served me well for quite a while now. I'm still impressed by how bright it gets in certain HDR scenes. Honestly love the cinema preset. It looks so great. For gaming, it's no brainer- 120 Hertz, HDR, and low response time. The game mode is incredible. It doesn't cut back too much on video quality like some other TVs do. (Looking at you Samsung) I will note that over the last year a couple pixels have burned out but it's only minor because I think there's only two.

Streaming content or viewing an UHD 4K Blu-Ray disc renders this TV unbeatable! Upscaling from quality sources is outstanding! Slight blooming from poor sources is noticeable at times. Google operating software is very user-friendly and Sony’s documentation supplied with the product is complete and well-written. Great value for the money; the X95J is brighter than OLED’s when running 4K disc content! Overall a best-choice option!

This tv is looking great so far. The sound is very clear and powerful for built-in speakers. I am on the fence about getting a sub and sound bar since they work well already. Picture is high quality with a lot of settings to play with to meet your liking. The smart hub is responsive and easy to manage and figure out. Overall, very satisfied with this Sony product and hope the TV lasts as long as my previous Bravia TV which is 10 years old and counting.

We upgraded from a 55" to this 65" over our fireplace and man what a difference. So glad we went with the Sony as the picture is beyond impressive. The picture is so vividly clear and bright. The room can be bright at times but this TV is so bright that we have no glare issues whatsoever. We use a Roku ultra for our app's and streaming and it was recognized immediately by this TV and we've encountered absolutely no issues utilizing the Roku. The sound is just fine but maybe a sound bar would improve the overall sound and bass outputs. Highly recommend the SONY Bravia XR X95J, check it out first when your considering options, you won't be disappointed. We are Best Buy Total Tech members and we are so impressed with this program. The installation and set up was included and the folks performing the install were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. `As a another program bonus, when I went in to review the TV, I noticed the price had dropped $200, since I was still w/i the return window, Best Buy credited back the $200 difference.

I can’t say enough about this tv Picture quality is great sound effects can’t beat it we did by a sound bar and sub woofer only because I wanted my seat to shake when watching a great movie I can’t say enough about this TV we have had it for quite some time Highly recommend

I love the way this TV looks, but it’s definitely not for someone with a smaller TV console. Picture quality is great for a non-mini LED, full array backlit LCD TV. You will notice some blooming if you like watching in the dark, but this TV seems to have really good control over its dimming zones. I do wish Sony didn’t keep the anti-glare to the bigger versions. That, the lack of the backlit remote that Sony includes with its other high end models, and the fact that Sony still hasn’t released the VRR update are keeping me from giving it 5 stars.

I love this TV. I did a ton of back and forth about this and a few other options but because I game on PS5 I went with Sony and I don’t retreat it. 65inch is large and crystal clear. Zero complaints with the Tv at all and it’s mounted perfectly on my wall.

* The latest firmware update features Variable Refresh Rate support WITH full array local dimming enabled! * I bought the 65x95J after seeing and comparing it to the newer 65x95K. Even though the 95K features mini LEDs and many more dimming zones, the local dimming performance on the older 95J simply looks better in real world viewing. Sony had many years of perfecting their full array local dimming sets and it shows. There is much less blooming visible under real world conditions than even the newer 95K with smaller zones. As usual, the 95J has Sony's all around excellent picture quality with color accuracy that is acceptable right out of the box. Full 4k resolution at 120 frames per second and VRR are available making this TV a great choice for gaming.

Given everything that is in this TV, you would expect a good picture. But the reason I got this was for the wide viewing angle and the anti reflection. Delivers on the field of view and the anti-glare is amazing. We have two windows facing the TV. Our old one I would usually see the lit window when watching a movie. No problem here. These two things alone are worth the extra cost over the x90j. Google TV is zippy and works with everything I own.

After having a very disappointing experience with an LG Nano 81's lousy picture and dimming, I closed my eyes and bought the top of the line Sony X95J even though it was not discounted at all. I am not sorry. This is my third Sony top line purchase in 10 years (not replacements-but different rooms) and I very pleased. The picture and auto-dimming match my 2018 Sony OLED TV, but this one is better for a bright room. The Google TV works well, with my only small criticism is they they did not include an Amazon Music app. You will not be unhappy with this TV!

Got this under $1000 so the value was great for what I paid. Love the picture. One of the best at this price for a 4K Led. Personally, I prefer the color accuracy that Sony offers. This was a good one.

Excellent picture, powers up quickly. Has all the smarts you expect these days. I didn't like the nagging about "Samba" which is their name for "Let us spy on what you're watching so we can target advertising to you" -- if you say no, they ask again. I had to buy a separate stand because the default legs are too wide for my table, and for some reason the 65" model doesn't have a narrow legs option as the larger ones do. Installation, whether on the stand, the legs, or a wall mount, requires two people. Only real downside is that I now "need" to get a 4K Blu Ray player and a new 4K-capable receiver for my surround speakers :)

This TV looks amazing. It's a VA panel, but the viewing angles are very wide. I looked at it in store next to the X90J, and the difference in the viewing angle is astounding (and imo this is what makes it worth jumping up to the flagship LCD). It's not an OLED, but it gets way brighter than the OLED variants do, I actually have it set to 40/100 brightness because I find that setting it higher hurts my eyes (it is SO bright). The local dimming feature is very good and keeps the black levels very low.

This tv has lived up to my expectations and is a big step up from my ten year old Sony LCD. Very bright HDR image, great color. I don’t use the built in sound system so this review only relates to the video. One disappointment is that unlike the 75 and 85 inch versions of the same model, this 65 inch version does not provide for the narrow stand option. Thus, I had to buy a separate pedestal stand. (I highly recommend the Tanto TS100 stand because it is well made and the height is infinitely adjustable.)

I upgraded to this TV after moving as I was upgrading my home theater setup and I grabbed this one for about $300 less on sale. This TV has amazing clarity, colors and features. It supports Dolby Vision HDR which looks great in supported movies. Google TV, although I don't use it since I use the Nvidia Shield Pro, is one of the best ways to stream and this has that built in. The TV itself looks great and is sleek. Definitely worth the buy, especially if you can grab it on sale.

I bought this for the reliability of Sony quality and longevity and am very pleased especially with the wide angle view feature which really makes for a perfect picture even from the sides or below. I purposely bought the older X95J because side by side only this years model truly had the wide angle view despite claims. Less expensive than OLEDs that were great but not from angles, which my room needed. I have a bright room and this performs better in bright light than OLEDS as well. Plus longer lasting reputation and durability over those as wel was important

We got this TV in August 2021 and its been working great since then. The picture quality is crazy good, we just a soundbar but the sound is also very good. Watching movies through Sony Bravia app is super colorful and clear. We watch straight on but the angles are good from any side and not much glare at all. The best thing might be hooking in the Sony PS5 and seeing how high quality it really is when it automatically detects the gaming system mode.

Overall this is a good tv. The black levels aren't as good as my old Panasonic vt50 but they are good enough. The blooming is a big issue with this tv no matter what I change the Blooming on black background with any white text on the screen stands out. The only other issue I have had is panning on fast moving scenes doesn't look as clear as my old tv. I may be to picky but for my this tv is good just not great. The OLED I would hope performs better but I didn't want to deal with burn in issues again. if you aren't gaming just get and OLED
