This TV is thin and great has such an amazing picture and software.
There comes a tv with google features then there comes a tv with Andriod OS built in to it. You have so much access to apps and being able to stream video with your favorite applications such as Plex.Netflix,Amazon,Youtube, Google, and much more. Even stream videos from your phone with Google Cast. Control it with your Smart Home or Smart Phone.

Best tv in it's price range. Looked at a few different brands and Sony won. Colors look bright and sharp. If you compare the specs to other entry level 4K tvs this tv wins. Native 120hz was the deciding factor. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because there isn't enough 4K content at the moment to really test the tv, and I'm not a gamer so can't give a review on how the tv holds up to gaming.

Crystal clear picture with fabulous depth of color. This is not the top of the line Sony 65" LCD, but it's a Smart TV with 4K HD and ..... it's a SONY! We initially purchased the same size Samsung set, but were not happy with the colors and contrast -- took it back and replaced with this and saw a major difference. To my eye, there's nothing better out there than a Sony LCD TV.

I went in to buy the Samsung and after talking to the salesman who showed me the Sony I was sold. More TV for lower price.
Easy set up, updates on its own, great picture. Absolutely zero complaints. If you're in the market for 65 4K tv look no further.

Great picture, but failure in remote and interface

Picture is great, HDR content beautiful. I played around with recommended picture settings but ended up settling on the Standard pre-set. Good price for a 2016 model that has all the features of the newer ones, including a 120hz native refresh rate.
However...the remote design is silly, where it has a circle with arrows (common), but an outer circle of buttons that go elsewhere (TV, Guide, Home, etc.). Problem is, it's too easy to activate this outer ring when trying to simply scroll down, and then you're off in some other menu.
The interface is weird, in that the Action Menu and Discover button bring up these little sub-menus that I have yet to understand the purpose for.
Now, Android TV. works fine except for the whole point of interacting with it centers on using the microphone on the remote. Guess what, the included remote has no mic, and you have to PURCHASE one with a mic. That's bait and switch. Sony, poor move.

One of the best tv purchases we've made. Very easy to use. Great picture. Price was great. Perfect amount of hdmi slots. Only issue was sound was a little low but we have a soundbar and so it doesn't matter. I would definitely recommend this tv.

After 18 years with my old Mitsubishi Dinosaur, it was time to upgrade our tv and I couldn't be happier! Great looking, easy to set up, and the picture quality and Smart TV functions are really great. No regrets with this purchase!

We were looking for a new TV for our livingroom. We had an older Insignia 43 in. that still worked fine but we wanted to upgrade to a smart TV . The size of the TV takes up our whole stand but it is well worth it. The smart functions are easier to manuever through. Setting up the internet wasnt hard to do either. Picture quality is fantastic! I video game on this TV as well and there is no blurring or pixel issues.
I would have to say the only negative issue with it is the sound. The sound comes out the back of the TV. I invested in a receiver and floor speakers.
All in all, I would have to say that this was a great investment. I am sure there is something even better out there now but I will stick with this tv until I am forced to get something else.

Already had a Vizio 4K 50 inch. Thought it looked pretty good for high def cable and streaming 1080p. But then I bought the Philips 4k player and put in Secret Lives of Pets. Brights were overblown big time. Literally made me put on my darkest setting and even then the disc was close to unwatchable. I immediately thought 4k was hype.
Then I got my Sony 65 inch 750D. Put Secret Life of Pets back in and WOOOOWWWW!!! This tv handled the HDR like a champ and made it look spectacular. Amazing detail. Watched the whole movie again and suddenly clips that were annoying the first time around were jaw dropping. Love it, love it!!

I bought this television and really am pleased with the picture on 4k Blu-rays played through my Xbox 1 S. However for a few hundred more you can get HDR and futureproof your TV. In hindsight I wish I'd done that, but I have no complaints about the TV itself, which for the price and size is a good deal.

This set has a great picture and is incredibly easy to set up and mount.
The smart functions are the best of any set my family has used. We really enjoy the 4k with Netflix, amazon and YouTube as well!

We upgraded from a 50" plasma to this beast. What a world of difference. The funny thing is, they both cost $999. Of course the plasma was purchased 8 and a half years ago. I can't say we've experienced 4K ultra HD yet unless I don't know it when I see it. Overall though, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great 4K UHD TV With HDR

This Sony model has a great 4K UHD picture with high dynamic range for the money. You can spend a lot more money to get an incrementally better picture, but this television has all of the features you need for now. The picture is noticeably better than our 7 year old 55" Toshiba HD television. Picture quality from our X Box One S is also exceptionally better. You will love watching programs streamed in 4K UHD with HDR. The only complaint I have is that Sony does not include an owners manual. So you will have to figure out the set-up and controls on your own.
