Master of all 3D tv. One of the best product. Mindblowing 3D. So happy about this tv.

I was lucky to have a very good salesperson, who took the time to show me around and explain the differences in all the televisions. He suggested I try an open-box that is certified. I did and I am loving it! A $3000.00 TV for $1799.99 - and Sony's TV of the year! It has great motion, sharpness, and features galore!

This TV has soectactular black levels and superior clarify. Best TV for all round use.

First, I just want to point out that I am a former Best Buy employee for 2.5 years. I do a lot of research and try to know and understand every aspect of the details of products. While my opinion is only and strictly mine, I always base them off of facts and the statistics of products. So here is my review from it straight out of the box: This is the best TV hands down in my opinion. I just bought this TV a couple of days ago and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. This TV is gorgeous and the build quality is like nothing of any other TV built this year nor several years prior. The picture quality is outstanding and definitely up to par with an OLED. I believe it to be better than any OLED given that the blacks are very close to an OLED, but can produce more brightness and contrast than the OLEDs. Don't get me wrong, the OLEDs are fantastic TV's and work very well for dark room situations and can definitely produce darker and clearer blacks than any LED TV and there's also no such thing as a perfect TV. However, I believe the Z9D is as close as it comes to a perfect TV. Every TV has it's pros and cons, but this one has the minimal amount of cons in my opinion. The only con that I can think of is that the motion isn't quite as good as I thought it would be, but I was also watching a 4K HDR Blu-Ray with up-scaling still on . It's still very good refresh rate at 120 hz and I can barely tell that it has a slight trail on fast moving objects, but granted I have not calibrated the TV yet so that may change after. Like everyone else says, this TV is super bright and when I had to turn the brightness down to about 10 or 15, it was good. The smart features of the TV are great just like most of Sony's TV's are, great. It's more responsive and quicker than my 3 or 4 year old XBR55-850C due to the X-1 Extreme Processor being a more updated processor. Halfway through watching a movie, I switched the 4k Blu-Ray to my old 850C and I have to say I was disappointed to watch the movie on it after watching what the Z9D can do. No doubt that the 850 series are great TV's and I would never knock it down because I still love mine, but after being spoiled by the Z9D, I never want to go back because it's almost a night and day difference. Even if you can't see one on display at a store, just think of it as a hybrid between the Sony A8 and the Sony 900F is the best I can relate it to as far as picture quality goes. With build quality, there's not another one on it's level. I hope this review helps people with their decision making because that's what helped me with mine. Definitely get it while you still can.
