Dead Pixels and Dark pixels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm gonna keep this review short. The 1st set I received from Best Buy had dead pixels so I exchanged that set. Now the new one has dark pixels which I've done some research and it Turns out the dark pixels are caused by bad transistors. Best Buy will not ship me an exchange because there's no tv's within 250 miles but late night they have them online after their call centers are closed. Contacted Sony and they are won't send out a tech telling me that the dark spots are normal and will get better over time! STAY AWAY FROM SONY!!

Garbage - Don't buy Sony
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my LAST Sony purchase. Good initially, but after 2 years and no longer under warranty, vertical lines appeared which means the screen is shot. I paid $3000 for the tv which was originally $5000. The tv is only about 8 months out of warranty, and sony was unwilling to stand behind their product, even such an expensive one. Essentially they said "Be careful throwing it in the trash."

External Audio for Optical Digital and headphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried the connection using either Optical Digital Cable or Headphone were NOT WORKING using both Sony website and manual instructions. I am thinking to return this TV instead of call Sony for help. I am looking at Samsung or LG today.
