Overpriced and has reduced in cost $300 since my purchase. Comparable to less expensive LG brand and not as good as my current Pioneer Elite 60".

This tv is top on the line quality. It's best for watching nature documentaries and movies. I just feel that the price was very high in comparison to the competitor and as a regular tv watcher, I would have bought the cheaper Samsung.

My family was going to buy a Samsung qled, which was compared in Magnolia to a Sony. No guest ion the sony had the best picture, but the 1K price premium between the two units. Staff demonstrated the two units and was helpful to my family in selecting the sony unit.

Purchased this t.v. after trying out the LG OLED. I think this one has much better picture processing than the LG. More expensive, yes, but in the end, you can't beat the processing.

Hands down the most impressive TV I have ever purchased. From the stylish design to the incredible picture contrast this OLED is truly next level. Yes, it is expensive. But, you absolutely get what you pay for.

I absolutely love the sound on this tv. Coming from the character and it travels across the screen! The picture is like looking thru a clean window and you are part of it. It IS expensive but I am not disappointed!

I actually purchased several items at the same time. However, the main item was the Sony 65" 4K OLED TV. You couldn't ask for a better picture than that TV has. It is a bit pricey, but I guess if you want the best you have to pay for it.

The TV worked out of the box then lost internet.

The TV worked fine for approximately 90 days then lost the ability to connect to the internet. I have a WiFi connection but could not bring the internet back on. Spoke with Best Buy and they recommended a new modem/router. Replaced the modem/router and same result, replaced the receiver, same result. Researched the internet and find many others have had the same problem. Tried all solutions I could find (the Sony site is terrible) and no fix. Now going on (30) days and approximately $1k in costs and no solution in sight. I would leave this in pieces on the show room floor but my lovely wife has said no. I do not recommend purchasing this product. The price is high but the frustration far exceeds the cost!

Fantastic picture esp when calibrated. The sound is actually quite good but will eventually hook it up to my surround sound. Upgraded from a Pionee Kuros Elite plasma and could not be more pleased. Maybe not the best value but a great TV - see worry a look especially now that the price has come down.

We are enjoying this TV. The color is great, the color black is indeed deep and dark. When the screen goes black there is no light coming from it. I can't give it 5 stars because it's over priced. I think this is a 1999.99 TV not a $2499 TV.

We have owned this Sony TV for a year now. Never had a problem with it. The picture quality is amazing. Our cable company doesnt broadcast in 4K but the picture quality is upgraded through this TV and wow! This was an expensive TV but worth the money in our opi ion.

The problem is your picture can be only as good as your delivery system. Cable is good but limited. Would love to see 4K! Probably would get five stars then. Remote is non lighted and is marginal for such an expensive TV

I upgraded from a 720P/1080i Pioneer Plasma television. The picture on this TV is superb! Very clear, great colors, no motion blur that I see. Sports look amazing. It was a bit expensive, but as I don't buy new TV's very often, I think it's definitely worth the price.

Ive owned LG oled and now the Sony A1E. The processor in the Sony A1E is far superior. The picture is great on the tv. The smart tv features are meh could be better for a tv of this caliber. The remote is too basic for this very expensive tv. Another bonus is the upconversion and 4K.

I've owned LG OLEDs and now the Sony A1E . The lg' s are very nice but the Processing in the Sony A1E is the best . The extra money you spend on the Sony is for its 4K upscaling much less of a chance of image retention then the lg counter parts . Great tv , and I recomend you get amazing HDMI cables for it to complete the package . Amazing picture quality with a clear picture that other TVs come close to but can't match

This TV is amazing. The picture quality out of the box needs only slight calibration to optimize viewing, but there are plenty of online forums where you can get those settings. You also have the option to have a professional come out and do this as well, but I am not that concerned. Aesthetically, this is the best looking tv on the market with clean lines and hidden cords. The slight angle does take some getting used to but after 2 weeks you will no longer notice. The only downside aside from the hefty price tag would be the app interface but I utilize my Xbox for that so not a concern.

Bought this to replace an older Pioneer Elite Plasma, wich was close to the price of this unit years ago. Compared the LG OLED & Sony, OLED. There is a clear difference between the 2. Sony picture much better. The operating system is very responsive, as well. Although the price is a little higher than the LG, you get what you pay for. Would buy another for another room in the house when the time comes.

I debated between the Samsung QLED, LG OLED and the Sony, finally deciding on the Sony in spite of the higher price. The picture is excellent and everything was fairly simple to set up. It took just a little while to get used to the slight tilt but now we really don't notice it. Also the front edge sitting flat is a little different but the set is very steady. This will matter to those who have the set on a table or exposed, not so much if it is enclosed. I made no changes from the factory settings and am very satisfied; to me the picture is more realistic than the brighter QLED. very happy with this set!
