The TV and Sound System are the BEST we've ever had. We were hesistent about the price but it is truly worth it. The service we received from everyone in the store to the two Geek Squad guys Brandon and Gregg who came out to install made this a really great experience! We did have a little bit of a hard time getting sound bar to sync with the TV but Gregg and Brandon kept coming out till it was resolved.

Picture quality is Awesome - processing power to sound bar is a little slow. TV seamlessly picked up plugins and was very easy to set up. The only negative is that I was unaware it is Android based software. I'm an IOS fan and it does conflict w/ apps.

This is by far the best picture I've seen yet. Thankfully I had the protection plan on my old tv because I'dn't have gotten this one without it. The picture is not much different from the LG E7 which would be the comparable model. I don't like the soundbar on the bottom of that tv. It's an eye sore. Which leads into the sound quality, that is, the A1E has the best sound quality out of any tv on the market. Audio is amazing and it's really neat how they did it. The sub on the stand is good. The ability to add on an external Sub is a great idea by Sony. I did just that and it adds a good boost to the audio. The motion on the tv is fantastic. Gaming is not an issue for me. I play a lot of RPGs, and first person shooters mainly, I've no issues. The smart features are not an issue as of yet. I bought my parents an 55x850D and they seemed to have issues with a lot of apps that were active they weren't using. I eventually went in and disabled them which helped the speed of the smart features and they haven't had issues since. I'd recommend doing that. The looks of the A1E was the cherry on top. The glass back and clean front really pushed me towards it. As I stated earlier the LG E7 soundbar is an awful design and it's an eye sore to me as it just doesn't look good. And I'm not willing to shell out $8k for the LG W7 just for a thinner panel. I'd recommend this tv to just about anyone that can get it or just wants an OLED in general. It's great for gaming (I'm a casual to serious gamer depending on the game) so I know what I'm talking about. Movies on this are fantastic and streaming is not an issue as stated earlier but I'll update if I've issues with it.

Listen, I'm not going to sugarcoat it: This is one of the best TVs on the market right now. But it's gonna cost you. I'm not going to dock it stars based on price, this review is about the product itself and what a product it's. Sony has really outdone themselves with the quality of their TV. The tablet-esque stand that keeps the tv tilted at a slight degree is awkward at first but the picturesque presentation quickly grows on you. Function wise this TV has everything. It runs on Android so it's a little more difficult to navigate than Samsung or LG but after a few hours you'll be a pro. Every app you can think of, designated Netflix, Google play Store buttons on the remote etc.. Etc.. and Now for what really matters, the picture quality. It FLOORED me. Honestly, this TV really doesn't need much in the means of calibration, but if you are spending this much then it can't hurt. As it's an OLED it uses LGs panel but the guts and processor are all Sony and it really buffs up the value here. I've never seen so many natural picture settings that require such little tweaking, the picture menu is simple enough and will auto adjust to most things you want but I'd recommend Cinema Pro with tweaks to whatever color temperature you want. 4k content looks absolutely stunning as well, deep rich blacks permeate the entirety of the screen and make night scenes a whole new experience in what you watch. Honestly, 1080P content such as Netflix, looks stunning also and the tv basically upscales anything you watch, you can add artificial HDR to anything if you want but I'dn't recommend it as it blows up the colors and really messes with the facial tones. If there is one negative about this TV - and not enough to make it 4 instead of 5 stars- it's the speakers, or lack there of. The technology behind the sound is quite cool, actuators positioned on each side work together to make the sound come FROM the screen and wherever the audio is coming on it. This is cool when you first start up the tv but quickly loses its luster when you realize how limited the capabilities of the sound is during action scenes, lacking enough UMPH to compete with even a mid level soundbar or system. . so I highly recommend pairing this TV with one of those. Other than that this tv is an absolute masterpiece, If you have the money and want the best money can buy right now then don't hesitate, go buy this now.
