I like the image definition quality of this TV. Sony needs to develop an app that features a magic remote control (kind of a mouse pad) to be able to select faster on screen functions.

we have only had ut for a few weeks and it has turned itself off one time already. We had to turn the TV on again. Then when you go to the guide. It is not the guide right away. You get no information. You have to click on the station to get it to come up and then go to the next and to the next. It takes forever.

Purchased TV as a gift for our dad’s birthday. Just shortly (week or two) after the 1 year warranty, the screen developed a green tint because the panel was starting to go out and the cost to repair is almost as much as the TV. Wouldn’t buy again.

I always buy Sony TVs because their picture quality is unmatched for the price I paid. I don't really like the constant messaging about doing updates because the last Sony TV I had, the control box literally shorted when I did the update. Always remember to unplug every device attached to the TV before performing a Sony TV update

I was in the market to upgrade my old LG tv and stumbled upon the Sony 65” 4K X750H. The tv I purchased was an open-box floor display, so others may have a different experience than me. There are times when the tv doesn’t turn on, either from the remote or button in the back. Every now and then, I have to do a reset on the tv to get it working. Also, the Android interface does a refresh every once in a while which causes a longer start-up (which i’m not sure if newer tv’s are like that, I’m used to just turning the TV on and it being ready to go.) Audio quality and picture quality are impressive when compared to older TV’s, yet you may have to fully customize the settings because out of the box the colors are pretty warm. However, after that’s adjusted this TV begins to shine - I’ve watched a few movies in 4K and I wish all my content was now in 4K. One thing I wish this TV had is a dimmer adjustment for when watching late at night. Another thing that would’ve greatly improved my experience would be if the bluetooth feature was able to connect to my headphones and/or portable bluetooth speaker. Overall, I’m generally satisfied with my purchase. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.”

I bought the 65" for the living room after buying and liking a smaller size of same for a bedroom. Can't beat this TV for the price. Runs Android TV so integrates with my phone and Google accounts. Familiar app process with Play Store. Picture is great. I use digital out to home theater for sound so cannot judge TV sound. My only three complaints are: > I cannot program the Sony remote to run my home theater (partly because my home theater does not have the hdmi arc synch) > When navigating to login to apps, the "enter" sequence is strange. Scroll up from virtual keyboard to the entry boxes and automatically increments to an equivalent of "enter". Some apps aren't built for that so causes "login failed". > For the apps you want, the app company must release a version for android tv. Biggest disappointment for me is that there is no Amazon Music app for android tv. Today I am going to see if I can load Chrome and navigate to Amazon Music via web.

This has a great picture... not bad sound quality, although we did hook it up to our surround sound, it was ok without it. It was so easy to set up! The remote control did not work but we used another Sony remote we had from our other tv and it worked so we could do the set up. Sony is sending us another one and they were very easy to work with (of course the TV is under warranty). We have only had this for a day, but so far very pleased and the price was good!

Lightning took out my 5+ yr old 65" Pany plasma or at least the 2 HDMI inputs. This has 3 HDMI inputs but I could really use 4. The 4 corners of the screen have some dark areas that should not be there and there is some motion blur but for half what I paid for the Pany, it's OK. If you have the money, check out the OLED's. The TV area of Best Buy is just overwhelming. I guess the way to buy a TV is with a $ figure in mind. That's what I did. I bought what I could afford at the time not what I wanted. If setting these big TV's on furniture as opposed to hanging on the wall, the mounting feet become problematic as they are wider than the table top. I will say this about the picture, NHL hockey never looked better. Some of this could be better production companies or better gear for the playoffs but either way, its looks much better than my old Pany. Whatever the default picture setting was, motion blur was worse than Cinema setting. Watching INDY 500 in that setting now. Havent played around with the settings much. I dont have the patience for it anymore. I DO NOT LIKE THE USER INTERFACE via the remote. The path to options is not intuitive and the home button takes you to some place weird you dont want to be. Thankfully the most used TV interface is the INPUT selector function and I do that from my cable remote. I like the big ole picture and it puts a smile on my face so life is good.

If you don’t want Apple TV this is great

This was a pretty good tv. Sound was exceptional. I returned it for 3 reasons. 1. It didn’t have Apple TV. I have a few Apple products and movies from iTunes. This tv has a Android based operating system. I like having Apple TV built in. That saves me $200 because that’s what it would cost for a $4K Apple TV. The Apple TV app though doesn’t have all of the apps on it like the stand alone tv. What it does do though is allow you to have all of your Apple TV content that you have from Apple in one spot. This is great for all the shows, movies or content you may like from Apple TV service. 2. LG had a true 4K 120HZ tv for $800. This tv is 60 HZ. And originally this tv was $900 on sale from like $1100. I think now this tv is about $6-700. 3. Dolby Vision. If you get almost any movie these days in physical for or digital download, it will say Dolby Vision. Fewer and fewer studios are going with HDR 10+. So I figured I might as well get a tv that supports Dolby now. Most tv’s support HDR 10. But, I don’t think there’s a tv that supports HDR 10+ and Dolby. So I went with the LG for all of those reasons. But, if watching tv in the highest form possible isn’t your thing and you just want a tv with good speakers. Then this is it for you. You can always spend $200 for Apple Tv if you really want this one.

Really great TV for the price. The picture quality is excellent, feels like being at a movie theater. Overall it was easy to set up and has every app you could want. Video games and movies both look great. If I had to point out a negative, the remote control's design is kind of terrible. Most of the buttons on it don't do anything, and it is basically impossible to operate in the dark.

First, the not so good. I bought this on the emphatic advice of the young salesman, and wish I would have either spent less money on a cheaper brand, or spent more money on a television with a higher refresh rate. He assured me that the processor in the Sony was superior to the other brands, and that it would have less motion blurring than the other 60 Hz televisions. The motion blurring is disturbing. The store did not have the television up for display. Mea culpa for not finding one to look at first. The television lacks any physical on/off switch, volume controls, or any other external controls. This seems like a bad idea. What happens if I need to reset the television? What happens if my remote breaks, or is lost? Google is super invasive on everything these days. Some call it a feature... meh. The fact that it has 2 hdmi inputs, and one ARC hdmi, is lame. If I could plug in all my gear to tv that would be good. At least on more hdmi would have been nice. For some reason the television keeps dropping the perfectly good, and fast wifi connection that my other devices love. On the upside, the still, and slow moving scenes are good. The speakers, aren't horrible. The google features are helpful once in a while. I really wish I'd have saved some cash and bought a cheaper 4K television with 120 Hz refresh rate. I feel like I got short changed. All in all, decent for people who don't care about motion blur in action scenes. Totally sucks if you do, and I do. Lesson learned, don't buy Sony. It is overpriced, and doesn't deliver on the promises. Before anyone says, "Did you use the right cords?" Yes, I went out and bought all new hdmi cords that support 8K televisions and exceed the requirements for this television.

Great TV! Works well and the price point is amazing! I've owned this TV for about 2 months. The only thing with this TV is its blacks aren't true black and it lacks HDMI 2.1 functionality. It has HDR but it doesn't support Dolby Vision. However, this is Sony's entry-level line so what do you expect.
