Great picture quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, what a difference! After 10+ years with a 37" LG, (which still works fine...) we decided to upgrade. I've had numerous Sony products, all have been well made, so we decided this was a good value. All I can say is, it was easy to set up, and the picture quality is just amazing. Would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Excellent TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV stand was very easy to assemble as was connecting the TV to the cable box (used a single HDMI cable). Programming the cable box's universal remote to control the TV was very easy. The TV picture is sharp and the colors are true. The TVs sound is also very good. The is an excellent TV for the price.

Not what I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely ever write a review, but felt compelled to do so about this product to help inform and educate anyone out there considering the purchase of this tv. I have always been a big fan of Sony televisions even at their higher price point. I also presently have a 65" Samsung Q60 & 7 Series throughout the house and wanted to try something different that ran Android TV so I proceeded to purchase the 65" Sony X750H (2020). Upon installation I noticed the Sony had a lot more settings offerings for the picture quality than Samsung and with Android TV a lot more settings in general, the picture was pretty good. Even though i had read some reviews about how slow the operating system on the Sony TV was, the rep at store told me this Sony TV was pretty good and faster than those in the past so I took his word. What I realized was that the Sony was considerable slower than the Samsung (really, really noticeable). Whether it was using live tv and changing from one channel to the next, switching to Netflix or Prime I couldn't help but notice. So that was a bummer, but figured I'd still live with it. Then I subscribed to Hulu Live TV for 1 month and slow to load every time. Also noticed blacked out commercials and graphical issues displayed at top of screen as commercials played... i chalked it up to Hulu. Throughout the month I kept having internet connection problems even though I had hardwired an ethernet cable directly into tv. It would show that "internet not connected" then switch to wifi and it would be ok. This would happen over and over again... i thought maybe it was by ethernet cable, so i replaced that. Then thought it was by ethernet hub and I replaced that, but it kept happening. The final straw was after my Hulu subscription expired after one month I decided to try Sling TV. Sling TV was faster than Hulu, but during commercials my video would black out while audio still played on the tv. It would stay blacked out for several minutes until i pressed the settings button on the remote control at which point it would then reboot the Android TV system from the start. This happened over and over and over again as I tried to watch the news and the NBA playoffs, it was very frustrating. I didn't want to return the tv to avoid the hassle so i called Sony thinking maybe it was a software issue. They told me to do the usual "restart" the tv from scratch and should fix, but it didn't. They next told me software was up to date and they could send a technician to look at it. It was a brand new tv and i was not about to have a tech check it out so I just called Best Buy and thankfully they accepted the return as I am an elite plus member with extended return period. I purchased instead a Samsung 8 series on sale for less and it is just soooo much faster and easier to use. In the end I was disappointed in the Sony experience, hope this is of help to someone out there. Thank you.

Good 4K quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid 4K tv. It’s a secondary tv for me. But I trust Sony to stand up way longer than Samsung. I’ve had two Samsung TVs the past 2 years bite the bullet. My other Sony (same age) is still standing strong. Plus, the processor is much better vs Samsung.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV from Sony exceeded my expectations from the start. The packaging was well designed, and resuable for when I move. The setup was very easy, and I liked the option to select the streaming apps you want, rather than being forced. The picture quality is amazing, and the bezel is small and sleek.

Great low cost, high quality TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture and great price. I purchased this TV to replace a Pioneer plasma TV and the picture difference is impressive. Even though this is a low priced Sony TV, the quality is still high. If you want darker blacks, you should check out the OLED TVs, however they are much more expensive

Extremely Happy Guy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome TV... I replaced an older same size pre-smart with this one... at 75 pounds installation is a snap, although pulling the old one off almost killed me (~200lbs)... Great picture and the apps that come with it, and are added later, can be put in any order on the main screen... One important note: before buying any smart TV, know what you want to watch... This is an Andriod TV, There are also Roku, WebOS, Apple, and maybe more... They don't all accept the same outside apps... It took 2 weeks of hard study for me to choose Android, over Roku, I was watching the Roku Channel while studying this, but realized that a Roku TV wouldn't provide the conservative shows I watch... Also, remember the "Back" button, it's like the back arrow on most things, since the remote has both a back button and back arrow, you will find yourself pushing the back arrow and going nowhere... great picture, great sound great CC access great looking... 10 stars!!!

Decent TV BUT dated and poorly designed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it comes to buying a TV the market is saturated with options. The technologies itself are pretty mature with incremental features added every year. You would expect a product to show signs of such maturity, however this Sony TV is poorly designed and feels dated - becomes frustrating to use very quickly. I had shortlisted two options for purchase Samsung 65" and Sony X750 65" 4K Ultra HD. I went with the Sony one as one of my friends recommended it over the Samsung. Here are the things I did not like and had to return (purchased from Best Buy). Poor attention to details: 1. Infra Red Remote Controller - It is 2020 and most of the TV brands have moved away from IR blaster and use radio transmitter instead - which has clear advantages of not needing a clear line of sight to the tv to make it work. This Sony TV needs you to very specifically aim and press the buttons to make it work (which especially when you are scrolling through smart tv apps and options, or entering search text becomes painfully frustrating) 2. IR receiver on the TV is at the center - Most manufacturers have moved away from this design choice and have the remote control receiver at either of the corners instead. This is important if you have a sound bar sitting in the center that could block the signals. Sony still chooses to put the receiver in the center. If you notice, Sony's Sound bars are awkwardly designed to lay flat with speakers facing the ceiling to accommodate this poor choice. 3. The remote itself - Look up pictures of the remote. It blows my mind to think that a 5 inch smart phone (that can write emails, show navigation, pay your bills etc) exists concurrently with this gigantic 20 button complex Sony TV remote. This design has not changed in 20 years. The rubber buttons do not provide a good tactile feedback on whether they were pressed or not. Half of the buttons on the remote don't work with most of the apps on the TV. Sony completely dropped the ball on this one. Remote design needs a major overhaul. 4. Bulk and Weight - TV likely has old electronics and unnecessary components in it that make it super bulky compared to its Vizio, Samsung counterparts. The back extends out like an old CRT TV and it gets hot very fast. Operating electronics hot automatically reduces the reliability and age of the device. 5. Legs - TV legs are awkwardly placed near the centers - which means your sound bar needs more room on the stand and projects awkwardly out of the TV 6. Thick bezels 7. Interface - The UI is very un-intuitive. The apps do not work smoothly and you can notice jitter on a TV with high refresh rate. Input source transitions are not smooth and when you switch off the TV it blinks out like a CRT - most TVs have a smooth transition to shut down. Pricing: More expensive than Samsung and Vizio which are much better designed. In conclusion, I don't understand why is Sony converting planet's precious resources into a less than ordinary product. Small design changes can change the game for the Sony in the already competitive TV market. As of today, put your money on a Samsung or Vizio both of which have much superior TV products.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off by saying that I have always been a huge SONY brand fan. Our new purchase was not a let down. The price was very comfortable and purchase worthy. No buyer’s remorse on this end! The picture and sound quality is great. However; I did notice the difference in the sound quality once I mounted it on the wall. But, the BOSE sound bar made up for this concern/issue. Overall, our family love the new purchase!

Good midrange 65” tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has good picture quality and it was on a good sale when I picked it up. If you’re expecting a superb picture and really immersive HDR, this isn’t going to be the right choice for you, as you’ll need something in a higher price range. The picture quality as mentioned is good. It’s won’t blow you away like an oled, but it’s still noticeably better than my 8 year old 1080p tv. Sound quality is average. I have heard better on almost all of my other TVs. The android tv software is average. It is slow and I have experienced frequent crashes on apps like YouTube TV. I don’t use the internal software much though, so this isn’t a real problem.
