Power Reset:
Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet, wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.
Restart:
Select the method depending on your TV.
1. Restart the TV with the supplied remote control:
- Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen
- Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart
2. Restart the using the menu. On the remote:
- Press (Quick Settings) → Settings → System → Restart → Restart
- Press HOME → Settings → About → Restart → Restart
- Press HOME → Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart → Restart
Please take note that when restarting with the remote or menu, the TV will automatically power off and back on after a short time.

Piece of Crap

It constantly loses your channels. Tonight is the 14th time I'm doing a channel scan. I've tried 4 times alone tonight. It's only picking up 32 digital channels. I'm supposed to have over 100. We've had to restart this tv from scratch at least 3 times. I have 3 other tv's, one of them being a Sony Smart tv and have no problems with them at all. It doesn't show the name of the program you're watching on the upper left corner. I wish I would have never bought this tv.

Do not buy this thing!

I would have had this tv for 2 years in October if it didn’t decide to give up 1 year and 10 months into my ownership. Save yourself and don’t buy this tv. All I have is a flashing red light from the tv and it refuses to turn on even after doing all these diagnostic steps I found on YouTube. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of Sony tvs.

We will start claim proses. Nothing happened.Even I have 3 years protection problem. I still don’t have TV???. Heal squad team blame Sony. Sony team blame the Best Buy. I’m not happy all this drama. I want some Brady respond and fixed the issue.

I had the tv as my first over 55inch purchase it last 1 year and 1 month brfore it "cracked" under the screen and the picture went half out, called sony to see what can be done with no response, disappointed all around, and now looking for a new tv.

If you need the smart features to work, like streaming hbo and netflix, pass on this one. It is always locking up when you go to the smart menu. It's a challenge to switch between netflix and amazon prime. It really is the worst smart tv I have ever bought. Ended up getting a Roku so I dont have to deal with the TV.

Weak Wifi Signal

Happens with all apps! Wifi is about 10 feet away and tends to disconnect all the time. I know its not my wifi cuz i have multiple devices connected to it and nothing else struggles. I also have an older model 55" and doesnt struggle. Its specifically this model. Dont Buy!

Don’t buy this TV

Sony “support” read word for word off their troubleshooting page on the website and then have up. It was laughable. This is not a smart TV. Third time is a charm I guess.

Sony 65” TV a piece of crap
