I only had the tv for 3 years then the most important bulb blew out and completely killed the tv. The cost of the repair would've be have the cost of the tv

Great TV. It was nice for the 3 years that it worked. I’m not sure that the cost to make that TV justified how long it lasted. It’s great when companies stand behind their product when it’s built well. However, I tried customer support but they were little to no help to resolve the problem. This is the second Sony Bravia that I’ve bought that broken after 3 years of use. It may help to have an extended warranty but overall not impressed with the steady decline of craftsmanship on these products.

I've been working on electronic equipment since the 1980's, In my opinion Sony has always made the best tv's and still do, The picture on this TV is excellent as all Sony tv's are, The one problem that I have with this set is that the sling TV app does not play well with the firmware on this tv. Video turns black, still can hear audio. You have to exit the app and restart it or sometimes you have to restart the TV to get the video back. Netflix, Hulu seem to work fine though. I had to switch back to a Roku player when I watch sling TV. One of the reasons that I bought this tv was so I could get rid of the Roku player all together and simplify the set up. Otherwise it's a great TV.

Very disappointed with Sony. They don't make them like they used to. Picture tube went bad. I bought Best Buy extended warranty and I received a replacement.

TV qas a great disappointment. The TV frequently shut off and would not respond when i tried turn the TV back on. I would frequently umhave to unplug the TV in order for the TV to turn on. The wireless card had to be replaced twice. Even with the replacent the TV frequently would not connect to the wireless network in ny hone (6 other s.art TV's which never have connection problems). The TV would often freeze and require "rebooting". Overall this was a terriblw ownership experience. I was often recommended to purchase auxiliary components to address the Sony malfuctions. Not only was this unappealing, I should not have to purchase additional parts to use the standard/basic TV functions. This was my first and defi itely last Sony TV purchase. I'll stick with Samsung brand which is higly reliable! Just a bad purchase that i would soon like to forget.

It was a pretty decent TV until it died just 3 years later. This is my second Sony TV that I've had to replace due to the motherboard dying, Meanwhile, I have a Vizio from 10 years ago and a Samsung from 7 years ago that have never had issues.

I’ve had this TV for over two years. It was working fine until a week ago when I started seeing cloudy patches on the screen. I’ve always been a Sony TV person and all of my previous ones lasted for many years, but this one has developed issues only 2 years in, which is very disappointing.

The tv has not been great. I has been grainy at times, glitched many times and as of a couple weeks ago, it started flashing a red light and I was told it would be more expensive than the tv is probably worth to get it fixed. The sound is the worst on this tv. The volume has to be turned up super loud for us to hear it well. Now I have to buy a new tv which in this economy is not easily done. I am bummed this tv only lasted a few years.

    Screen Issues

I’m writing this review as someone who has an overall positive history with Sony. My first flatscreen was a Sony and it lasted 13 years. This model however, lasted just 3.5 years. I purchased kd-65x750h in 2020 and am now forced to look at new TV options due to the backlight of this Sony model needing to be replaced. When sitting down the other night to watch TV, I received the dreaded black screen with flashing red light which is probably the worst thing you can see when you’re expecting to sit down to watch television. Now my wife and I are choosing to purchase a new TV rather than repair the damaged TV as it doesn’t make financial sense to invest more money into a TV purchased in 2020. The TV was never moved and was used at a reasonable rate. My recommendation to anyone looking at this model for purchase to keep looking. There are other products out there that will last more than 3.5 years.

Just Read many reviews about the tv going out at about 2 years. Well mine just went out after about 2 years, red blinking light as others stated. Tried all the reset and factory reset methods but none worked. Im sure sony knows about this bad tv. Well I know their going to lose plenty customers for this tv.
