    I went to the store and the picture did not look as good as when I got it home. Once home, the picture quality is great. For the price, this is a great TV. It has a nice bright screen and great black levels.

    Very Disappointed

    As most negative reviews on this product, I'm extremely disappointed on the performance of this product since i purchased a month ago. As this was a Sony product and was selling at a great price, it was a no brainer to make the purchase however I was very disappointed. Lets start with being unable to download major tv streaming apps such as AT&T TV which I thought would be available but that was my fault as I should've confirmed. I have FuboTV downloaded however app doesn't work properly. When opening the app, it just operates very slowly and every time I shut my TV off and back on, the app will not work and need to force stop every single time. Although it has been well documented on other reviews, the tv keeps disconnecting from WiFi and have the router right next to the TV, mind you no other device in my apartment loses connection with Wi-Fi. As I mentioned above, I thought this was an excellent purchase bring it is a Sony and the price but i wouldn't have purchased it for half the price if i knew then what i know now. Not sure I'll be sticking with this TV and will look to purchase a Samsung TV whos products have never disappointed.

    Sony Bravia worst TV ever

    Absolutely a piece of junk, have had this tv for over a year now and can't stand how horribly it works. Half the time I turn it on and the screen is just black, im constantly plugging it out to reset Screensharing from your phone Apple/Android doesn’t matter both don’t work ever The apps feeeze to where you’ll have to unplug the tv, and always has internet connection issues. Will never buy another Sony tv again, second time I've been burnt by their trash tvs

    WiFi and Bluetooth don’t work and glitches

    This tv started to have problems a month or two after we got it. The WiFi doesn’t work on the tv so it is hooked up to the router. The Bluetooth doesn’t work either. It glitches on every app we use when none of the other electronics in the house have problems. Sony sent someone out once and they said a part needed to be replaced but then they decided it needs a system update. That was months ago and they still haven’t done an update and the glitching gets worse all the time. I have an older model Sony that has no problems so it’s super frustrating that the newer one doesn’t work properly. Every time we call or email they say to wait on the update but they don’t know when that will be available. We asked for a new tv or money back but they said that wasn’t possible. We should have gotten the Best Buy protection. We’ll be doing that from now on.

    This TV was consistently glitchy and required a lot of rebooting. It died after less than 4 years of ownership. Expected more from Sony product--I have much cheaper televisions that have lasted far longer. That's that with this brand for me. Garbage product.

    Good looking an dsounding bad software

    I enjoy the tv for the most part except the software isnt great it crashes and locks up so you have to do a hard reset by unplugging it and replugging it in. Im going to stay away from sony from now on.

    have owned for about 3.5 years now. when you turn on the TV, about 50% of the time, it will show a black screen. The only resolution is to pull the power and power cycle. Sony Support suggests that I search my local yellow pages to find a tv repair company...lol

    Used this TV for less than a year and now my screen will not come on. Its on a black screen. I can hear the sound, but no picture. Very disappointed. Now I have to research and purchase another tv.

    Noting but a Headache ARC HDMI will not work

    My soundbar will NOT work with the tv ARC HDMI, if you use an optic cable it is not as good as the hdmi Also with optic there seems to be a lag in the sound from the tv. If you use an optic cable I will have to use 2 remotes. I want to use the tv remote to control the soundbar volume. I have wasted so much time trying to figure it all out I have a migraine! Also Sony has a bad design for the tv legs they are very narrow set and don't accommodate a lot of soundbars. I suggest measuring your soundbar to make sure it will fit between them. I just might return this TV.

    Avoid, buy Samsung (or anyone but Sony)

    This TV looks good, sounds good, but it’s glitchy. Sometimes it just loses its WiFi connection and we need to fully reset it to get it back on. Sometimes the sound cuts out when streaming video (we have a 1GB plan, and we fully upgraded our WiFi network, didn’t work). It was occasionally powering itself off, but this was resolved when Geek Squad replaced the power board. We really should have bought Samsung. We definitely will next time. We do not recommend Sony.
