I’m totally happy with both, my Sony Smart TV , and my Sony Sound bar. I never imagined that a TV would be so, “User Friendly. I might add that, I’m pretty sharp, at reading and following an owner’s manual; however, in this case, the, “Prompter Set Up,” was superb. Not at any moment, was I intimidated or perplexed. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase. I’m looking forward to years up enjoyment from my Sony X800H

I have a Sony soundbar hooked up to it and the sounds cuts in and out all the time. Had three different sound bars connected to this unit, 2 Sony soundbars and 1 Samsung all done the same thing, watching movies/shows via streaming apps all cut in and out for less than a second. Very annoying. I am mad cause it is has been 6 months now and thought it was a soundbar issue but I sure it’s a tv issue. Need help Would like someone to call me to discuss issue

Whether you are using an HDMI or optical cable for the connection between the TV and soundbars, try using a different HDMI/optical cable. Also, try doing a power reset by turning off the TV, unplug the power cord for two minutes, then turn on the TV.

I think these Sony televisions went wrong, I don't recommend them at all. I am thinking of returning it again.

It has stopped working. It has no sound and the picture is snowy. On the snowiest day of the season NO LESS! This is unacceptable, and Sony will be hearing from me!

Coming from plasmas before so it’s quite different. From a picture quality standpoint the tv does a good job. The blacks are the only thing that disappoint me at all. During the day the tv is bright enough and looks good, At night in a darker room is where the lack of black depth is more noticeable. That might be because I’m comparing it to a Pioneer Kuro plasma, which has amazing black levels. Other than that, it is very nice. The “smart” part of the tv works flawlessly, quick connections, plenty of apps, and very little lag. The sound is actually ok too. From an aesthetic perspective the tv looks beautiful. Overall at this price point this is a very good tv, with minor black level issues probably not resolved to my taste until I spend a lot more on an Oled.

I'm a big fan of the operating system which by far was the easiest to use of any TV I've owned in the past. I logged into my Netflix account and needless to say, the 4K quality was better than I was used to, and Dolby Vision took this to a new level. Lastly, I checked out some sports highlights and wanted to put this TV to the test with motion and it did not disappoint. I tried Hockey, Basketball and Golf, all looked crystal clear. I highly recommend Sony for anyone looking for great quality at a great price!

Easy to use with the remote. I purchased this Brand because sony still provides a remote that has NUMBER KEYS as well as voice remote. I love this TV BUT,,,,,,its bluetooth feature only supports input and does not have output. This means you CANNOT USE BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES WITH THIS TV .

I find the picture to be excellent. Very true color reproduction and the 4K/HDR is great. I have only experienced 4K/HDR through streaming from Disney+ and Amazon Prime. But the image is crisp and bright. I'm also impressed with the smart features of the TV. We do not have cable - we use an over the air antenna. There is a very nice guide system built into the TV. As far as i can tell, you cannot record or rewind with the system as is. There are also a number of apps you can get that very seamlessly integrate into the experience. Disney+, HBOMax, YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc. Makes the experience very easy to manage. Sound performance is OK. Not bad, not great. Typical for what you would expect on a TV. The TV will pass Dolby Atmos to an external device, which is nice Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase.
