Switched back to Sony from Samsung. Sony 51 inch XBR has been running since 2003 no problems. Samsung 55 inch 2018 had to replace power supply. So back with Sony but have not ruled Samsung out.

I was drawn to the Sony X800 on a consistently superior picture. It is an easy device to operate. Sony sends regular updates to the unit via Wifi. A very high quality unit!

Then I returned that and got this and i am extremely happy I think it’s only 60hz vs the 120 but I’d rather have a great picture over that.

We don't have cable or satellite so really aren't pushing it but the picture is clear and don't notice blurriness with action. We did have some issues initially with lack of sound when going thru channels & once the tv locked up which caused the processor to reboot. We downloaded an update and haven't had an issue since.

WOW! Beautiful picture Easy setup. Tv recognized antenna and WiFi immediately Dolby vision and atmos sealed the deal.

Setup with the Sony remote to the tv programing would not work properly, couldn't get it to watch a tv show. We had to use the xfinity remote to watch our tv shows. To date we have not hooked up our blu-ray player yet. i'm expecting that to be just as complicated

The Picture quality is great, the Sound is great as it readily connected to my Sony Amp ! The App selection could be better, they don't have Apple + TV in the App selection or in the store. Having the four USB ports made it fit in well for my needs ! I do wish they had a led indicator AS IN PREVIOUS SET TO TEL IF THE SET IS ON ! I would have placed a five star but I'm still a little bitter as I was not offered an extended warranty in the store, and I tried many times to talk to some one about adding it in the first few days that i had the set, but Best Buy did not seam to really have an answer for that problem ! So far the set has worked like a charm ! The set fit well with the wall mount that I purchased from BB I watched a Eagles Concert from the Form on it an was well pleased with the experience ! . .

I just wish the HDMI ports were slightly further apart as we have a Amazon Firestick which is so wide I had trim some of the material off of the adjacent cable to get it to fit.
