4K TV That Doesn't Break the Bank
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an excellent TV that doesn't break the bank. Picture is clear from any viewing angle. Google TV is a decent platform but it's downsides don't detract from this review since that can be disabled in favor of Sony's standard interface. Only negative is that the speakers are down-firing so if you have the TV standing on a table, mantle, or in a media cabinet the sound is extremely tinny and muffled. This can be remedied with a soundbar or external speakers, but that's of course an additional cost. Overall I'm very pleased with this TV.

Fact that it has direct lit led than other brands ( only edge lit) and you will see the difference. OS is also makes experience smoother. Only draw back is , the manual , Sony website says this model should have Built in mic switch (In TV) for voice control but I did not see that , called Sony product support couple of times , they do agree it should have but not sure my TV does have. But it’s not a deal breaker for me.

It doesn't feature hands-free voice control and the TV itself doesn't have Built-in Mic. Even if this X80K TV does not have a built-in MIC, you can use the voice search function by using the remote control. You can access Google Assistant or voice search by pressing the Google Assistant (or MIC) button on the remote control. Nice TV.. Cheap remote...

My problem is with the remote. I purchased the TV on sell for over $700. The remote is cheaply made. I'm disappointed.
