    Purchased Sony for a group home of 6 residents who were watching tv for over 15 years on a 32inch. I purchased the Sony 65inch with a sound bar and they all feel happy as if they were in a new home and at the movies. It brought so mych more joy into their lives.

    Bought this on black Friday after the LED went out in my Samsung. Picture quality and sound quality are better than the Samsung were. Remote is uncluttered and the menus are simple to navigate. Setup and configuration maybe took 20 minutes from start to finish even with the software updates and app installations.

    It's a beautiful TV, thin and fairly light. The interface is good, very intuitive with the Google integration. Sometimes the interface hangs, but a reboot is enough to fix it. The sound is great and I don't need extra speakers. The image quality is good too. Not the oled quality for sure, but for standard TV show, movie, sports, it's pretty decent. For the price, I'm happy with the purchase.

    Amazing TV, you really get to see the differences with all the resolutions with this one. Clear image, many options and a great product. The interface takes some time to get use to but it’s nothing too difficult.

    I’ve had several brands of LEDs. Some were edge lit, full array, and now direct lit. The last TV I had was Vizio and it was full array. After about 5 years though, it started to turn blue. I knew I didn’t want to go with Vizio again, and also wasn’t sure maybe full array wasn’t for me. There was some ghosting in mine. I have several edge lit LGs at home that are older and still working great. I was already prepared to get another LG but there was a Sony Rep there who asked me what I was looking for. I wanted a direct lit panel but just couldn’t justify the cost difference. Until he showed me Sony models that fit the criteria and wasn’t all that expensive as I’d thought. Color reproduction is great. Sound of the TV I don’t know since out of the box was connected to a soundbar. Controller is easy to use. The UI is great since it’s just GoogleTV. The one complaint I have are the blacks though. They seem more dark grey than anything. The screen is really bright that I did have to turn the brightness down a little. I was watching it one night and had to shut my eyes when an all white screen appeared. Overall a great TV. The blacks only are noticeable when watching in a completely dark room. Probably also doesn’t help I have LEDs around the back of the TV so it makes it more noticeable. I can see why Sony is a sought after brand of TV. Their processing of color and image is just top notch.
