    Great TV and amazing sound quality. Sadly it only lasted 21 days. While watching Disney+ with my kids I noticed horizontal flickering lines popping up all over the screen. A bit hard to capture them in photos. Tried everything. Different apps, inputs, wall outlets, factory reset etc. I’m going to assume I just got a lemon.

    Two months after purchase and the picture is going out. There's a horizontal line across the bottom 1/4 of the screen, and white dots running horizontally across the screen under the line. There's also a vertical line running from the bottom of thy TV to the up to meet the horizontal line, and there are a few gold pixels where the lines meet. Sometimes the screen goes dark. I'm working with Sony on getting it looked at, but until that happens and I know the result, I'm rating this TV one star, as I don't expect to deal with such issues two months in. Aside from this problem, the picture on the TV is excellent, and we really like the interface. It sounds like garbage though. I'm aware that TV speakers aren't meant to sound great, and we do have a soundbar, but our older Sony TV sounds pretty good on its own, and the cheap Insignia this TV replaced sounded good as well. This one sounds tinny and hollow.

    jusst bought last year 13 months old , the screen appears a few lines and automatically turn off but still make sound, i don't know if this tv is still under warranty, i like sony but i just bought it for 1 year and 1 month, i've been like this.

    Great TV, but the 3 start is for defective piece. Observe carefully when you bought any TV. I noticed vertical lines on screen when I play any video. Spoke to bestbuy customer service and they will be replacing the TV. But still it’s hectic to pack again to make it ready for them to pickup.

    I don’t get it how people say the picture is good. I always had a plasma TV and never had any problems like this. Sometimes when someone turns their head you get trailing and sometimes the black in the picture gets washed out or spotty. I believe that whats it’s called. See pictures and judge for yourself. I hate to take it back but I can’t seem to get any help on the problems I’m having.

    Sony Quality control issue, poor customer service

    This tv was excellent for me the first two months. Unfortunately, I was out of town for about 60 days and when I came back, it was noticeable that the LCDs were peeling away from the screen and making terrible lines upon returning home. The TV was unused during that time because I live alone so there are no explanations as to why this happened. Again, unfortunately, Best Buy does not repair TVs above 48" so I had to contact Sony. Sony said, based off the pictures I sent them, that the TV is out of warranty due to external damage. THERE IS NO EXTERNAL DAMAGE as you will see in the photos for yourself. Bottom line is, the adhesive that was holding the glass to the LCDs came undone and SONY refuses to repair or help me get a new TV.

    DO NOT BUY A SONY BRAVIA - Wi-Fi issues

    Stay away from this TV! After having it less than 5 day, the TV will disconnect from Wi-Fi. In order for it to connect properly, I have to power down, unplug, and reset the TV.. EVERY DAY. I contacted Sony and they are aware of the problem. They said they would be happy to set up a service call but removing the tv from the wall and re-hanging will be at my expense. DO NOT BUY A SONY BRAVIA.

    I purchased this tv on 1-29-22. Four months ago! Has a green hue in left corner. Sony is being difficult iand Best Buy won’t exchange it. Sad. LG for me next time.

    I'm coming from the same size 2016 Vizio 4k screen less the hdr/dolby vision and a more "dumb" OS so the difference is night and day. I have a google ecosystem for my smart home so set up was effortless and its intuitive and familiar to navigate. I just got a ps5 to pair with this TV but no games to really test out the 120hz yet. NOTE: While the screen is capable of 4k @ 120hz, unless you've strapped this thing to a high end PC you'll likely get one or the other from your ps5. RDR2 looks even more fantastic and Cyberpunk 2077 paired with the ps5 looks incredible too. I've read people knocking the speakers but this is easily 2.5x louder/crisper/deeper than my old Vizio. I kind of expected this out of a Sony TV but to actually witness it all come together at this size for the 1099 price tag make it one of the best purchases I've made in a while.
