This panel produces a beautiful picture and for the value I got it for it's a steel at 120hrz refresh rate this TV is a good one and perfect for everyday watching activities and all the streaming purposes

Being used to a macbook pro with P3 gamut, this TV is equally amazing. The highlight is definitely the impressive contrast. Even though no local dimming, the black level is superb and well suited for dark room viewing. Also without local dimming, there's also no halo effect and everything is always very sharp. The sound quality is just okay. Additional sound bar is definitely needed for series movie watching. Played switch and xbox games with it and works great.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from Samsung junk, this tv has a much better picture and sound than any of the Samsung TVs I ever had, which I use a surround sound for my living room, but I’ve not had any conflicts at all with it, it’s been super easy to set up and operate unlike the Samsung that I put in my bedroom I despise it with a passion! I love my Sony tv! Even the Xbox is a noticeable difference on it!

Still love it after almost a year

Great picture quality and I love the features to easily connect our streaming services and consoles. Sometimes we have trouble connecting to the internet to stream a show but that’s been our usual experience with all tvs. It’s a great size and paired with our sound bar it provides a fun watching experience.

X85K Rich Colors and Brightness

Although, I recently purchased a Sony X75K (2 in fact following the X80J), I wanted this model (X85K) because of the extra brightness that enriches the colors that this TV provides and to accommodate my Sony X75K TVs for sports. Also, depending on what streaming services that you may use, this TV is excellent for movies and TV shows, having the rich color and brightness, Dolby Vision and a variety of audio accommodations that support movies and TV programming. The remote is a little different from some of the older model remotes because it does not have numbers. However, I have more than enough older model Sony TV remotes to satisfy that need.

The Replacement for the Replacement

We originally got a Hisense TV and the picture was AMAZING! But the price was too good to be true. The speakers sounded absolutely awful. It sounded worse than a $20 bluetooth speaker. Our old TV sounded good so why could that one not? Then another issue set in. HDMI CEC would not work no matter what I did. This was annoying to have to use two remotes all the time. I originally had my heart set on a Sony since they are known for quality but the price was steep. You don't get a new TV very often so why settle? After talking with our local Best Buy associate, they set us up to pick up the Hisense TV and deliver the new Sony TV for free. All I had to do was pay the difference in price. Well, we have had it for two weeks and love it! The picture quality could be argued with the Hisense but the fact that it sounds great and functions well speaks for itself. The only complaint is the the price but you know you are getting quality. Overall I would recommend this TV to anyone and everyone. Also you get to say "I have a Sony" :)

I have an xbox series s so i can play games at 1080p 120 fps or 4k 30/60 fps. Great gaming tv. Not so much for viewing dark movies. The sound quality is good as well. I recommend getting a sony oled if you want to watch movies and this sony led if you want to play video games.
