Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class X900F Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. They appreciate its great value for the price and find it particularly suitable for gaming. While some users have concerns about the remote control's functionality and the TV's speakers, these drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive customer experience.

We bought Sony because of the best processor to watch sports with. We love the colors (RGB range) too. Great TV and our second Sony Bravia, the other Bravia is 10 years old and still has a beautiful picture and a processor that keeps up with sports. We just upgraded in size.

Had the 65" X900F for a little over a month and couldn't be happier. Was waiting for last year's X930E to go on sale but never found one that wasn't reconditioned. So, finally decided to go with the 900F since it seemed very similar. Good choice! We live in the country without cable and too cheap for a dish or Netflix. So almost all our viewing is over the air antenna using a TIVO. We get around 2 dozen channels, many full HD and some SD, but this TV makes them all very good. Have more stuff recorded than we can watch! TV is very bright and wonderful color. Was worried about the warnings concerning very narrow viewing angles. Really? That isn't a problem at all so don't worry about that unless you're sitting at right angles to the TV. Since we use TIVO all the time, we deal with it's interface and remote and not Sony's, but I don't have trouble with the Sony interface when I've had to make setting changes which have been few. I say "Go for it!"

Nice, bright display. Great color. This Sony looked better than the Samsung models I considered. The TV room has a Google Home and I have a Pixel 3 phone. There is some device confusion when giving the Sony TV Android commands. Therefore I don't use the TV Android stuff.

Picked this gem up for the wifey for Christmas. Wasn't looking to spend a fortune. After months of comparing tvs, this tv satisfied my eyes and my wallet. This 65" is the perfect size and the price tag was within reason. The specs are good enough for our use.

It's a great picture and rather easy to set up and add a DVD. (I know, I know DVD's are going out). The brochure with the TV is rather limited. It's a smart TV and the directions are limited. Even online, it's difficult to decide all the additions.

So far this TV has been great for us. We bought this to upgrade our 2004 Sony 42" plasma. The picture quality is very good. Sound seems to be on par for the factory speakers. Mounting the TV was a breeze. Overall we are satisfied with this TV.

I'm definitely not TV expert but after doing research and comparing as best as I could, I'm very glad I went with this Sony X900F. It has a one of the better pictures compared to other brands in this price range and I have a hard time differentiating it from more expensive models. If there is a negative it's the multitude of options to wade through to set it to your preferences but there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to help you with this. Apps work great and there are 4 HDMI in puts, which is plenty for my needs. If I'm being honest I've always had a Sony as my main TV, this one replaced a 46" model I bought in 2008 which still works and looks great. I just trust Sony in this department. You can definitely spend less on a similar sized TV but I don't think you're getting the same level of quality.

If you are looking at this TV then you are already familiar with the high level of detail and quality that Sony puts into their televisions. I have had LG and Samsung flagship models and I always end up back at Sony. This tv was purchased to put in my bedroom, as I have the OLED Sony model in the theater room. This was a great addition and the picture and smart features are top notch. Don’t hesitate to buy this tv and save your self the time and headache, purchase Sony over LG, Samsung, or any other. They truly have the best panels out there and the picture is a testament to that.

I've had it only for about a week now. Still learning about different calibration settings, but great picture overall. Vizio and a couple others offer cheaper prices, but they won't beat this quality, true motion, and easy to navigate platform.

This is a great Tv picture is vivid and amazing. The HDR10 is great the Dolby Vision works well however I am concerned on the vision encoding With the Netflix app. Maybe a software update will fix that.

I didn't want an OLED because the burn-in or image retention issue is real (see RTINGS.COM for the yearlong test of OLED image retention). So the next best thing for my family was a full-array LED TV for our watching habits (youtube, netflix, xfinity, occasional gaming). I considered Vizio P-series Quantum and the Samsung Q8/Q9 series, but ultimately picked the Sony for what I feel is the best combo of price, reliability, and picture quality. I read a lot of reviews and I'm sure the Samsung is better for gaming, but I wanted the name recognition and quality of Sony vs the Vizio, but didn't want to pay more for the Samsung. Plus there are other privacy issues with Samsung I didn't care for. Anyway, the picture looks fantastic with the Sony and 4K material is definitely sharper and noticeable. I have yet to try my PS4 Pro's HDR content, but will do so.

There aren't enough good words to describe how awesome this TV is. The clarity is so good that you can now read the fine print at the bottom of the commercials! Easy to hang. You will be as happy with this TV as my husband and I are.

This TV is a great offering by Sony. The colors are very rich and lifelike and the black levels are very dark even in a dark room. The tv has great viewing angles. Great purchase for anyone looking for a great performing 65inch on a budget!

We upgraded from a Sharp TV to the Sony. What a difference. The picture is so clear and the colors are so vivid. We had no idea how much we were missing with the old TV. I would recommend the Sony X900F for anyone looking for an improved TV watching experience

I previously had an xbr55x850d, & was looking for an upgrade in size & performance. This 900 series has excellent blacks, which the 850d did not ( lots of light bleed and gray screen that should have been black). The increase in screen size is great too!

I decided to jump up to this model as picture quality was supposed to be generations ahead of the model below it. I was sceptical at first, but decided to see for myself. Color & motion are flawless when watching sports, deep blacks when watching movies.

We don't upgrade electronics for the sake of upgrading. We wait until our stuff is on its final leg, wheezing, before we buy a replacement. Our last TV went kaput, and we went to Best Buy. The clerk was awesome (that's why we went straight to Best Buy--as we've come to expect that kind of service there) and were assisted in picking out this TV. Brought it home, had it hooked up and running in no time. The ports are easy to get to for connecting a hodge podge of devices, and we love the Smart TV aspect of it. In fact, it seems like 90% of the time, we're watching through the various apps rather than our regular TV channels anymore. The 4k picture is incredible--we had no idea how bad of picture our old TV had until we started watching this bad boy. Fingers crossed this TV lasts us ten years as we love everything about it.
