I bought the 900 series as they said it was an upgrade over my 700 series. It is a good tv but not sure that it has any better picture than my older model. I guess I was caught in the buy new and shiny and it cost me. I would definitely buy the 900 Series if the price drops below $1000 otherwise an older model would do for most normal viewers.

I really like the TV. I have it connected to Sony Soundbar via HDMI IN (ARC). At first, the sound was not synchronizing with the video. I found help on the Sony website. That seems to have resolved the issue. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00026069

Nice 4K TV for the price. Good colors and contrast. It runs cooler than the previous E version.

Was going to get the Samsung Q70 but sided with this. Very much satisfied with my choice

The TV and soundbar in combination was a great deal. For the price the TV does its job perfectly fine and gives great quality content. I just noticed, however, that even 4K quality movies like "Spiderman: Homecoming" aren't as clear as the 4K content Best Buy shows in store. The speakers are amazing with a bluetooth connection with your phone or a hardwire connection to the TV. The best part is both devices have built-in chromecast.

The TV provides great 4k resolution based on a growing but still somewhat limited 4k show content out there. However, this will be great for the near future when most or all content will be created and shown on 4k res.

I love this TV! It was easy to install and program. The picture is the best that I have ever owned.

We had not needed to buy a washer/dryer for almost 20 years, so it’s pretty awesome having all these modern features. Huge capacity that allows me to run bigger loads of laundry and great features like steam and express dry. I don’t like doing laundry, but I love this set.

Best non OLED tv you can get! Tried the edge lit and exchanged for this one. Backlit is the way to go! Only got this because the price dropped so much. Huge difference when watching at night. You can see light bleeding through with edgelit but don’t have that issue with backlit.

This is my 2nd 900 series Sony TV. I was impressed with the 900E in a 55" The 65" 900F is simply AMAZING. Quickest purchase ever as soon as I saw it I literally said I'll take it. (Just fits in a Honda pilot with the box on an angle.) You will not be disappointed.

Excellent picture and good sound. I do not have enough power to get the full experience.

Happy with the picture quality. This TV replaced a prior Sony and happy we decided to do so.

I went into Best Buy to upgrade to a larger smart TV. The Sony salesman was there to help me. Of course he recommended a Sony TV, and I am very satisfied with the recommendation. The only drawback is that I am an Apple user and the only ones they had in stock were android.

Great picture. Great contrast. Haven’t had a chance to watch college football on it yet.

I bought this Sony X900F backlit LED as an upgrade from a previous generation Sony XBR. I have always bought Sony as the quality is so consistent. Unfortunately, for the first time, I was disappointed with this Sony TV. While the TV produces very bright colors the contrast is rather poor due to disappointing black levels. The advertised local dimming does not adequately compensate for the picture brightness so instead of blacks you get dark grey at best in most cases. This is most obvious when watching a movie with bars at the top and bottom of the screen which are nowhere near true black. I know that is a rather short review, but I focused on the main issue. For the money and being a 900 series backlit LED I would expect more from Sony. I have returned the TV, which is the first time I have every returned a Sony TV, and I have purchased dozens in my life. I decided to make the big jump to the OLED which was significantly more expensive but is unparalleled in quality in every way. I am again loving Sony(except for the huge sticker price). As a long time Sony loyal user I would not recommend this TV. To anyone who is willing to spend $2000+ for a high quality TV you will likely be disappointed, as I was.

Disappointed that it doesn’t have a sleep timer. Remote kind of complicated to use.
