This is one of the best TVs for the money. OLED may have better blacks and contrast, but it's also much more expensive. The picture on this TV is great, it's plenty sufficient for TV and movie watching. For a fan of movies who has money, I would definitely recommend getting a projector instead of an OLED TV. A 100 inch picture for the price of a smaller OLED TV would be much more enjoyable. Anyway, I had this TV for almost 8 months and didn't have any issues. The sound is not the best, though. I got a Sony soundbar; it made things better, but it's not perfect, it lags and there are not enough settings to fix this. I would recommend getting some other soundbar with this TV.

Going from a Samsung product now to a Sony. Very few if any issues. I did like the browser feature for the internet on the Samsung which this TV does not have. Also, like the remote on the Samsung which allows you to operate the features a little simpler. But the picture is awesome and that's what I was looking for.

Fantastic picture ,easy to set up and program . Sony sets very reliable this one replaced a 12 year old set that still works great .

Picture is vibrant and colors pop. Good black levels. Wires can be hidden in stand. Quality television. Plenty of hdmi ports and the apps are fast. Wifi and ethernet available.

The picture, color, and brightness makes watching tv and movies enjoyable. The apps for streaming were very easy to install. The price was higher than comparable TV’s but well worth the price.

Awesome TV at a great price. I did a lot of research prior to my purchase and this TV has met all my expectations. The sales person at Best Buy was the icing on the cake. Very happy with my purchase.

I was doing a lot of research and I am kind of a sony guy. My prior tv was a 55". My biggest reason to update was to get bigger. I have to say. I finally have my home big screen theater. Just a beautiful tv from the build the backlighting which o didn't have on my prior. My prior was a 4k.. but this one I can see my 4k discs in new light. All I can say is this tv is just amazing. Does all and more. It is older model. But was best in class for what it is in yr it was out. But I find no discernable things that make newer model seem better. And I got for great price. If you dont care about newest and more expensive. This is tv for you.

I did a tremendous amount of research in looking for a new tv. This Sony lives up to everything I read about it. Great picture, easy setup. Love it!

My last large tv was a 55" Samsung that I purchased 8 years ago at a discount store. I was happy with it until the picture wouldn't come on. In reviewing various televisions online I decided I needed some information from an expert. My stop at Best Buy was great - I spoke with a very knowledgeable representative that answered all of my questions and through our conversation and his pointing out similarities and differences in various models, I selected the Sony X900F. It has been a joy to watch, easy to bring up apps, and has exceeded my expectations. I used the Geeks installation and they were great at setting it up and explaining. Very happy with this purchase, product and installation.

We decided to replace a 55' Samsung that was 9 years old on which we had an Apple-tv box, Amazon Fire and Microsoft's wireless display adapter. The Sony eliminated the need for all three, is a 65" screen and with 4k Ultra is a noticeable improvement in color saturation over the Samsung. The Samsung set is still in use but we prefer the Sony. We also have a 32' Sony Bravia that is 12 years old so we are hoping for a service life to match with the new TV. Our viewing area is 10 feet from the TV in a direct line and 13 feet from the two chairs set at a 45 degree angle to the TV. Direct viewing is the best but even from the 45 degree angle seats, the picture is crisp and clear.

Coming from a 12 year old, top of the line Samsung 1080p DLP projector, I can believe the vast improvement in picture quality—Makes old shows look new. The black Friday deal of $1599 was great and combined with 10% back in BB bucks when opening a credit card account gave me more money back to buy other great products, like a paired Sony sound bar. It was also nice to be able to see these all demo’d in the store which this was clear one of the top TVs. My only regret was not going for the larger 75” ;) Buy it, you’ll be happy.

As a wife, not tech savvy with Entertainment stuff, the picture is awesome and the TV is easy to use, connects with Alexa and the remote is great, easy to use and you can tell the tv what to do

This was a hard sale at the store that is was the best of the best...it looks wonderful in store and on my wall at home. Picture is beautiful..... But Sony has a problem! HUGE!!!!! PROBLEM!!! The tv did it’s update the next day and from then on the picture would go black while watching tv. I would still have sound but no picture. It would come on if I turned everything off and back in again. But would go black again after just several minutes. Then would come back on after about five to ten minutes for maybe another 10 minutes.....it has been mind numbing!!!! Cable co been out Best Buy been back out....it’s not them it’s Sony!!! Luckily I haven’t had much time to watch tv since I bought this, but I am having it replaced with a completely different brand....fingers crossed!

I like that I can still control a wide array of personal settings without having to allow my shared data. The picture is extraordinary but very much depends on your individual choice of cables and connections. Get the best you can afford. The speakers fall short so a good soundbar will be key to an enjoyable experience. Not all apps are available without a google account. Where Samsung won't let you set up your TV w/o giving up your first born and all your rights to data privacy, Sony doesn't...at least not yet.

This TV exceeds expectations, by far the best picture quality for your money. Bought this one for my wife and enjoy viewing 4K movies on this.

Very happy with the TV so far. Picture quality is great. Obviously, this is dependent on the quality of the source material, but everything looks great on this TV. Anything rendered in 4k will look best, but even regular blu-rays will look noticeably better than they do on my last TV. The Android TV platform means that almost any streaming service you can think of is available without needing an additional device. A handful are pre-loaded, but everything else is just a short download away. If you are looking for a 4K TV with a great picture, without having to spend what it will cost to get the absolute top of the line, I highly recommend this one.

Simply put this 2018 Sony is BETTER in every conceivable way than the 2021 Vizio I bought to replace it with. Now Vizio is being replaced back! This TV has outstanding upscaling capabilities, very bright, colors are gorgeous and HDR and DV are lifelike. The motion handling is unparalleled. I tried everything I could to get my 2021 new Vizio P Series Quantum to come close to Sony to no avail. I’m so glad that I was able to snatch up the 900F! I wanted it for the bedroom and new Vizio for my living room, but it’s gonna be the other way around. If you find one, open box or whatever, GET IT!

Excellent Sony 900F TV that replaced my 2 year old C6 LG OLED. Thankful that I purchased a Geek Squad warranty because the OLED TV had permanent burn in at the bottom. It was my choice to replace it with a high end non OLED Sony. Picture is really good on my new tv and I was pleased with TJ, Geek Squad technician, who is very knowledgeable and experienced. He programmed my Harmony remote and set the color adjustments. Very pleased now not to ever worry anymore about OLED burn in issues and this Sony was an excellent overall choice.

We upgraded from a Sony 45" (which still works fine) to this Sony 65" and OMG IS IT HUGE! We love the picture, the smart features and the ease of setup and using it.

Way surpassed my expectations great picture love the android built in and Google assist cast anything from my phone was a little higher priced but with the hdr dolby cinema it was worth it
