Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class X900F Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. They appreciate its great value for the price and find it particularly suitable for gaming. While some users have concerns about the remote control's functionality and the TV's speakers, these drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive customer experience.

Beautiful picture. Great sound. 4K capable and awesome streaming apps (ie Amazon Prime). Really happy with it. Picked it over the samsung qled series and the lg nano series.

I waited to write this review until I had enough time to confidently provide feedback. After looking at many different televisions, I chose this one because it strikes the right balance between a "standard" 4K television and an OLED television. Don't get me wrong, an OLED television has an amazing picture, but it comes with a price that is reflective. But, this television has a truly amazing picture without a huge price tag. Color accuracy is great right out of the box and did not require much "tweaking".

The picture is great and it was easy to setup. I hooked it up to the Sony soundbar with no problems. I haven't used all of the features yet but I am very pleased overall.

My previous Sony Bravia lasted over 13 years of high use. This one seems solid and has lots of newer tech benefits. Picture and sound are great. My only negative is that the Android/Google software built in has lots of privacy warnings and typical Google it gathers lots of info, has access to microphone, usage, and you can't disable or opt-out. So, you have no choice but to accept and allow, and then go to settings to restrict permissions and data use as much as possible.

This is the 2nd Sony 4K Android set I have. The display is gorgeous, bright, great colors, sharp...all as advertised. Easy to unbox and setup. The Best Buy delivery service was great...on time, called day before, 10 minutes prior to delivery and were courteous and professional. Put it where I wanted and answered all questions. Superior to the regular delivery services. So, once I got it set up it worked great...thrilled with the purchase. The 2nd day it requested an Android update, which I performed. After that the TV's remote won't change channels, and the cable stb universal won't change volume or turn the set on or off. Between the 2 remotes everything works fine. Have tried all fixes suggested on the Sony support site except for a factory reset. Will try that next. Bottom line is I love the set. In addition to the picture, the sound is surprisingly good for two 10 watt speakers. I just find it amazing that Sony struggles so much with an Android update.

I bought this Sony XBR65X900F not only because it was on sale for $400 off the regular price, but with great expectations of Sony TV's reliability and durability. I've owned 3 Samsung HD TV's and all of them had issues after the warranties expired while my 2 Sony Tv's are trouble free. The XBR65X900F displays stunning pictures in 4K mode and very good upscaling of 1080P. I just wished it has component connectivity and regular RCA audio/video connectivity instead of the audio/video port which requires an adapter that is not included in the package. Nevertheless, I still highly recommend this product.

Clear quality, love the smart part, menu configuration is easy to do! Stunning picture quality with 4k streaming. Too bad cable can't catch up to the technology. I don't have 4k DVD player yet. So, one of the latest and greatest. I would recommend this set for anyone. 65" fits perfectly above fireplace. Geek squad did an excellent job hanging it up! I'll have to check out the games, played the car racing game. Need to invest in a controller maybe? Hard to drive using remote, but I'm older and slow. Kids will love this feature!

The picture is very good but the remote could be a lot less complicated. Also, Sony's OS is good and decently fast but many apps are in goofy places that you may not know until you try to explore a bit. I would definitely recommend this TV for the picture quality and the Android OS.

I purchased the Sony X900F to replace the TV my parent's bought over 20 years ago. This was their first 4K TV and they (and I) were thrilled with the color, contrast, and detail. The viewing angle was narrower than I would have preferred. The wide-spread feet were stable, but too wide for the pedestal used for their old TV. If it is to be used on a stand, it must be no less than 12 inches deep and 57 inches long. I found the remote frustrating because the cursor ring was closely surrounded by function keys. It was very difficult to navigate menus without hitting a function key, going to a completely different display, and having to find the menu and start over again. My mother's only complaint (she did not have to operate the remote) was that it was "just too big". We returned the X900F for a 55" model by another manufacturer with comparable display characteristics, a wider viewing angle, and better remote design.

Terrific TV with really good picture, from clarity to color reproduction. The preset picture settings create a really intense soap opera effect.... if you don't know what this is, you will as soon as you turn on the TV. Change the settings in Custom Settings for smoothness to either 2 or 1 and set Clarity to 1 and this annoying picture should be resolved. I'm being really picky but I find the soap does effect really annoying. Anyway, other than that, it's great. Haven't tried any of the connectivity or internet stuff as yet.

Bought this TV to replace a low cost 4K Samsung that died after only 5 years. I am hoping the Sony fares better. This TV has a great picture and surprisingly deep blacks for a LED TV. The picture quality was pretty decent out of the box and required very little tweaking, unlike the Samsung it replaced. While I don’t really use the smart TV features of this set, what I do use of the user interface is well laid out, intuitive and responsive. The old Samsung was pretty finicky with the sound bar. This Sony controls the sound bar perfectly and seamlessly. Thanks Sony for a great TV!

This tv is awesome , the android tv part takes some getting used to but this picture is amazing. Would give a higher score but I think this price point is still a little high considering it's a marginal improvement over last years 930e model and it's just mixed and matched techs from previous models

This is my first 4k TV and I am loving it. No problems so far, but to be fair its been only about two weeks. Picture quality is top notch, I'm still fiddling with the settings trying to tweak it to the best picture I can get. I use a sound bar so I can't speak to the speaker quality but I'm sure it's not the best, they never are on TV's like this. My only gripe is, sometimes I think I can notice a slight darkening or brightening of the picture during shows...My gf thinks its the actual scene in the shows themselves but Ill keep my eye on it. Overall...so far great TV, especially for $1100.

I’ve had this TV for a couple weeks and have been blown away. First, the TV looks great hanging on the wall - very sleek, especially with the thin bezel. The picture is great, especially when it is fed 4K HDR content from my Xbox One X. The games have new life, and videos looks amazing. Also, if you have a Sonos Playbar, this TV will pass through a Dolby 5.1 signal, so you’ll get full surround sound after you tinker with the settings to make sure it is not sending Dolby Plus (Sonos can’t process a Plus signal). Also, make sure to turn on enhanced HDMI if you want 4K and HDR - it will only work on inputs 2 and 3. Overall, great TV.
