Very good monitor in a very competitive market
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are many reviews for this and other monitors. You will find positive and negative views of each. I highly encourage you to go in person to view monitors. This Sony is a very good model. Pros- picture quality is great. You do have to make adjustments for best picture. Very close to the 950 model in quality but much better than than the 800 model / Intergrates well with other AV equipment/Streaming is fast Cons- To achieve great picture you really should has very good knowledge in adjusting monitors. Try the Internet or that one AV guy everyone knows at work. Menu system is kind of messy. Value- There so my choices out there right now BB had a great Sony sale at the time and I was interested in this model. Do your homework. Check this model out.

Sony XBR65X900F
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took 2 TV's to get it right. First one had a bad panel. Excessive light bleed and some clouding. They did a home delivery exchange. 2nd set picture is phenomenal. I can see why this set was one of Sony's flagships at one time. Stunning 4k. Excellent deep colors. SD upscaled looks great. Definitely connect a hard wire internet connection. This set likes to drop wifi. Upgraded OS to Oreo that was released 1-22-2019. Android OS on unit runs much smoother and a bit quicker. Overall very very happy with this purchase. What can I say but "It's a Sony". I tried a Samsung 65 inch Q8 before settling in this unit. The Sony blows it away.

Great Picture, I Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV to buy esp. for the price! If you do your research it still up to par with the current 2020 Bravia model which is those H series! It has everything except Airplay, but who needs AirPlay if you owned an Apple TV. I know it’s a 2018 model, but back then this was Sony flagship TV. But the difference is, with current model this TV has X1 extreme processor! It is a down tier from the more expensive X1 Ultimate you can find on 950’s model and OLED Tv’s!

On CNET’s list of Best TV’s of 2018
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We considered getting the 65 inch OLED but this TV was 1000 less and we think it’s excellent. User friendly, excellent picture quality, remote has access to all apps like Netflix, google play, youtube, can share screen from iPad. We love this tv! Very happy with our purchase and Best Buy’s staff.

Great TV but no Apple Airplay Support
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is really good, great for watching movies and playing games. Audio is good too. Sony is the best of both worlds. Only complaint is this is an older model so does not have Apple Airplay compatibility and I wish I could have checked that before purchase. So if you want to cast from your apple tv via wireless check a newer model from Sony.

Excellent Midrange TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from a Panasonic plasma that was about 10 years old and starting to have problems. Did tons of research (rtings.com and avsforum) and decided to go with sony 900f series. Almost went with OLED, but wanted to save a little money. There are a ton of settings to go through to get the TV to perform its best depending on your scenario. For those settings, go to rtings.com or avsforums and do a search for your model. Those settings will get you in ballpark and you can adjust to your preferences from there.

Bravia 65 F900f
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is very nice. Great picture, decent sound from internal speakers. The only complaint I have is the wi-fi segment appears to be very slow. A lot of buffering and program disruption. We have basically relied on the old Roku for streaming. I am going to run a Lan cable in the near future in hope of resolving that issue. Otherwise, love the Bravia. It's our second one. First one served us well until it developed a vertical streak after 10 years. Overall, satisfied.

Love this Smart TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first foray into a smart-TV. Have been a Sony customer forever. After a lot of research and concern over OLED burn-in, decided on the old reliable LED. We have been VERY pleased with the quality of the 4K picture - the colors are wonderful. It took a while to figure out how to use many of the smart-tv features, but we are getting there. Have it hard-wired to my home LAN. The TV has updated itself a couple times with new firmware since we got it. Only takes a few minutes. Very happy with this TV!!!!

Awesome picture/so so interface
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4K picture looks amazing but android tv is a let down. After walking around the store for an hour this was hands down the best non-oled picture in Best Buy. Dark blacks, accurate skin tones, quick refresh rate. Android tv is a failure. Why do they still now have the directvnow app in the google play store? The app freezes and has buffering issues with 4K content. I’m provisioned with 100mbs download speed and android tv still lags when using prime video, hbogo, showtime anytime, etc. I resorted to connecting an Apple TV 4k to eliminate the issue. Amazon fire tv 4K also works fine in my house so the issue seems to be isolated to the built in android tv. If you still have cable and/or don’t use the internal android tv for 4K content viewing its 5 stars.
