actually a great tv but after I downloaded all my apps and passwords the volume cut out and one hdmi port stopped working so I called support and for one hour could not figure it out and then they suggested a system restart which worked but it was a hassle putting the passwords back in...But as far as the picture and the ease its great I would buy it if you don't mind the price but there might be better options out there with a better price point

My brother and I both have this TV. He bought the 2017 model last year. I just got my 2018 model. The colors, features, and performance are fantastic. I'll admit that most of the OLED TVs are better, but they weren't worth the additional cost (diminishing return). I can't comment on the sound, as I'm in the Sonos ecosystem.

Once we upgraded our Comcast box, meaning we had to upgrade as our 6 month old box was not allowing for 4K Resolution, the TV looked like it did when watching in the Best Buy Showroom. Added a 3.1 Soundbar which makes watching movies all the more enjoyable

After Years and several Different Samsung Purchases I actually went with a Sony this time, And I'll tell you I don't regret it. Very good picture, sound quality is great, android tv(Google Play) is an added bonus I didnt know I needed. Highly recommend you considering this if you're in the Market

So my plan was to purchase a Samsung that was on sale but when I read reviews as we all do. I decided to spend a little more and get this Sony. It was on sale as well and for a little extra I got so much more. Easy setup, amazing picture quality and the stock sound is pretty decent. So pleased!!

I have been a fan of another brand of TV for years. At the recommendation of a friend, I broke with my favorite brand and bought this Sony. I figured what did I have to lose? I could return it if I wasn't happy....well, it got returned...but only so I could upgrade from the 55" model to the 65" model. Fantastic product!

great price, great picture quality. I use my 4k fire stick on HDMI 1 input and have never seen a tv produce such a vivid picture. the 4k fire stick was recognized by the tv and set its self up effortlessly. I love this tv wall mounted with sound bar. I would recommend you stay Sony all the way with your purchase.

This TV has a clear picture and sound . Great for gaming or watching especially with UHD and HDR stuff . At the top of that the TV has android operating system allows you to install whatever apps you want . So you'll never need an android box and less wires in the living room .

Until recently I hadn't bought a TV in about 6 years. I feel like it's a waste of money, considering you can get all the same content on a mobile device. But recently I decided to buy a gaming console, and along with that a TV. After looking at a bunch of products and doing tons of research, I settled on a 55" LG ThinQ. I was okay with it, but couldn't help feeling like there was a better alternative for the money ($399.99). However I realized that I'd need to upgrade for a better picture. I then picked up a 55" Sony X950G. From the sturdy display, to the overall packaging and build quality I was impressed. The setup was simple, I hated the LGs magic controller or whatever with the floating cursor. Sony was nice and simple and easy to calibrate. That's another thing, make sure you properly calibrate. The picture on the Sony wasn't overly processed like the LG, or overly saturated like the Samsung. Gaming was fantastic as well. 3 days after I got the 55" X950G, the 65" X900F went on sale for the same price. Sssso I did the exchange. Now let's compare what's different. Build quality is the same, I love the stand. Love it. Screen quality is great on both models, you really don't see much of a difference between 950g and 900f. Had I been able to get the 950g at this size, for the price, I'd have done that. However the 900f is excellent. Yes it's not super cheap, it's not a discount display. I do prefer the newer UI of the 950g, and the new remote (trust me on this) is excellent. The sale Bestbuy currently has a great sale on this TV, just get it. Get off the fence, make it happen, you won't regret the buy. Do it. Do it. Do it! Hope this helps.

This tv is great sports are unbelievable great price

This is my second Sony tv. My first is an XBR55850C Bravia Series! Fantastic really! This 900F blows that out the water! It is incredible what the processor chip in this new tv can do! What an amazing product and the price was very affordable. Sony has really won me over again! Well done Sony!

I decided to upgrade my TV after 8 years of owning a Samsung TV. I have personally bought TVs as gift and also assisted friends in TV purchases so I consider myself an informed buyer. The TV market is crowded with Smart TV space where as my primary interest was on the physics part. I cared more about UHD, 4K more than the smartness it offered while not going nuts with $$$$$$. My sweet spot was $1500 price point. I purchased this during thanks giving and I believe got a great deal. This was Year 1 or Sony's 2 year refresh so I felt I was still purchasing top of the line item. The good: 1. I personally had a big change in viewing experience as my previous TV was not a UHD. 2. Color gamut- The HDR color and rich range of colors SONY was having showed pictures really well. For eg. I was able to see more than plain black spots replaying GOT last season war scene. In my previous TV all I saw was black screen. 3. Weight ~ The TV is big but it definitely is very light. I was able to easily mount this TV on my existing mounting bracket that I purchased from Best Buy in 2018. 4. I don't need auxiliary devices like Rocky, Sling, Chromecast, Apple TV for watching in OTT platforms. Apple TV does have some exceptions. The Bad 1. Android apps crash 2. Internet connectivity is flaky. Frequent disconnects and long time to reconnect back. This might be a Android TV issue. I plan to reset and try again. 3. Not impressed with built in Audio. 4. The volume increase decrease (when connected to external audio system) is very slow. I takes me pressing the buttons multiple times to change few points up or down. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I can live with the shortcomings I noticed.

Writing this almost 6 months after purchase, the picture is GREAT! If you tweak the settings you can make it even better. I would highly recommend having a 2nd or even third hand with installing this. Mounting the legs can be a but of a hassle. Overall this is a great buy

This tv is so clear it looks like I can actually touch the people. The colors are crisp and bright, the remote is so responsive and easy to use. I've never had a sony tv because of the price yet, it was well worth the extra money. Sony as a result of the quality of this tv, you 've made me a customer for life..

This tv has an excellent image when uses apps that come with the tv. Please be aware that Hulu tv live is not available as an app.. You will need to use a amazon fire stick 4K ... that is when you will notice that the image is less bright and crisp. If you adjust the display settings in the fire stick to adaptable HDR the image will improve... also set the tv image to custom mode... Sound quality is ok. Overall best image in the market at this price range
