Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class X900F Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. They appreciate its great value for the price and find it particularly suitable for gaming. While some users have concerns about the remote control's functionality and the TV's speakers, these drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive customer experience.

After a bit of tweaking and enabling HDR and some other adjustment settings, the colors look fantasticl. Android TV is ok, it works fine but the store is still missing some apps such as HBO GO (it has HBO Now but not GO for whatever reason), Apple TV, and one or 2 others I had come across. Not a huge deal though, a cheap Fire Stick takes care of those. I did have some trouble getting my sound bar to work over bluetooth and eventually gave up and just used HDMI ARC which works fine and controls the volume level of the sound bar with the TV remote which is great. The remote is huge and clunky but it does what it needs to do.

First off don’t get mixed up in the bad reviews on the stupid remote, it’s fine! Also people talk about the user interface being HORRIBLE, and quess what, it IS!! But the amazing picture is sooo worth it! If you hate the UI and remote so bad, buy a roku stick. The picture is so amazing I found our whole family OFF there phones and staring at the 4K Netflix origin show on Chinese rice...............yes we stared at F’ing rice and noodles for about an hour and then woke up out of the trance and started laughing, also my two suns were glued when we watched Moana!! Gorgeous picture!! All around amazing, and I went into Best Buy to buy a Samsung Q8

This TV was very easy to install and setup. It performs well in a bright room with lots of windows. The colors look very natural and bright without being over saturated.

Sony historical picture quality delivered. No distortion viewing in very sunny large room (20ft X 20ft). Angle viewing presents no issues. Responsiveness from smart tv apps is very acceptable. I compared this TV to Samsung QLED in your store with the intention of getting the samsung. But the sony picture quality was an outweighing factor over supposed faster samsung smart tv processor, I have not found any problems with the sony processor nor android OS. Do NOT like the the sony tv handheld controller. It worked well at first, but button response is now rediculous.

I bought this TV back in November, and have been waiting a bit to write a review. I finally got around to it and I want to say that this is the nicest TV I have ever owned, or close to it. The other was also a higher end Sony I bought back in 2012. Back then there was so 4K so it's hard to do a comparison. This TV is absolutely mind boggling in picture for the price. I didn't think it could be given the price, but I scoured the planet and researched before settling on this TV, and I'm so glad I did. It would be hard pressed to find another this good at this price. Not to negate any other reviewers, but I noticed a lot of reviews with issues of blooming and audio shortcomings. The first things I did was look for blooming, and listen for sound issues. I found neither - but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Many professional reviewers have mentioned the blooming ( not so much the audio ) and I tweaked my set for weeks before learning how to get it to the best picture I wanted. Audio was no problem whatsover; the audio on this set is superb and I find it to be more than adequate even though I sometimes pipe it through the stereo. For every day viewing, the audio is superb and clear. What is crazy about this set is the amount of settings you are allowed to tweak be it audio or video. I've dialed in what I believe to be the best picture I've seen on a TV of this size. I also paired with a Sony bluray player for simplicity and quality, and the combo cannot be beat. Do yourself a favor and plan on spending many, many hours tweaking and more tweaking with this set. To me, it's part of the fun of owning a set, much less what you will be rewarded with in the end. One small issue I have is that there isn't a quick way to access the settings menu (unless I've missed it). You have to go in and down thru the menus to get to the setting you want, on my older Sony there was a button on the remote that took me right to the picture controls.... I use many depending on the source material and having to do it on the fly thru the menus takes time and interrupts what you are watching. Aside from that, this is one monster of a television, and at this price I don't think you will find a better picture.

Wow, I just got this and this tv is awesome. I say this as someone who is super bothered by a less than perfect image. Straight out of the box it’s great too. The picture is beautiful and so clear. I’m actually surprised at how great it is. I feel like I got a deal on this tv and am extremely happy with my purchase. Love it. Highly recommend! The color is really nice. Natural skin tones but bright colors that really pop.

Let me preface this by saying that I had spent countless hours researching, comparing reviews and specs, and asking questions online before purchasing a television. I'll also add that I took a bit of a gamble, as this television was not on display in any of the Best Buy stores I visited (slightly older model.) I am pleased to say that I am very satisfied with this TV. I was initially hoping to spend around $500 - $600, but I quickly found that would not be possible for what I wanted out of a TV. After all the time spent on rtings and reddit, I found this to be the best choice for me. The panel itself is sharp and crisp. 4K movies (paired with a Sony UBP-X700) are gorgeous. Gaming on a PS4 pro is even better now since I can use the HDR capabilities of it. (I promise I'm not a Sony fanboy, I just happen to own three of their products.) Normally, I absolutely detest the image-smoothing/interpolation that modern televisions use. I always turn it off when I am watching on someone else's TV. However I must note that the frame smoothing AI/algorithm this TV uses is top-notch. I dial it down a bit from the default settings, and it remove some of the frame stuttering to make moving shots smoother. It is a noticeable improvement and doesn't just make the movie look like it is being played in 60fps. Packaging was excellent and made unboxing doable for even just myself (I would recommend having someone help though.) The setup and customization is a breeze. The image is fully customizable. You can adjust the level of the image smoothing, the color (hue, saturation) brightness, contrast, gamma, noise, and so much more. If I had to find a critique, it would be the two armed stand that attaches to the TV. I would have liked a centered base stand, but that is personal preference. If you want top-tier picture for mid-range price, this is your choice. I couldn't be happier with the 900f.

Purchased this TV about 16 months ago. Don't usually buy Sony because they are usually pricier than other brands. BB had a "don't walk away" price on it. However, when I saw this TV on display, I quickly changed my mind. The picture quality is amazing. Blacks are true. Picture depth is outstanding, sound is very good. Upscalling of older movies is very impressive. After using this TV for months, We are always amazed with the overall quality of this Sony. Highly recommend it.

Checks most boxes for today’s tech demands. Great picture with nice 4K HDR specs and Dolby Vision support. Motion is smooth and black levels are great head-on for not being OLED or Mini LED. There is a GAME mode, but the absence of variable refresh rate is a little disappointing. The gaming experience is great, but it would’ve been nice to have that feature. So far I feel like IMAX ENHANCED is superior to Dolby Vision on this set. I’m excited to see what IMAX has to offer in the future.

This television is amazing so far. I have switched from inferior build and quality of Samsung years back and don't regret a thing. My last TV (Sony) is still going strong and has worked flawlessly which is a good and bad thing (when trying to justify to the wife of a new TV). This TV is great as it is full panel led back lit (not edge) and is really bright and vibrant. The X1 ultimate engine is truly amazing and does a wonderful job of processing 4k content. This TV has a refresh rate of 120 which gives you a crisp picture and no motion blur. The settings need to be tweaked for best results but overall are not bad out of the box. I find that the 65 inch is the perfect size as the 75 inch is a huge price increase. Overall I am happy with my TV and glad I stuck with a quality manufacturer. Although the TCL TVs do look appealing and feature packed for the low price but that comes at a cost.

My Vizio P series TV died way too soon, one month after extended warrantee expired hmmm. Will not spend high $$ on Vizio again. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. The picture on this Sony TV is outstanding. Their network is Android based, much more reliable than proprietary systems on cheaper brands. Easy to switch from streaming channels, lots of choices, great sales, installation and support from BB! Not crazy about the remote, but all in all a solid choice.

I really love this tv. Was delivered in a few days in perfect condition. Took about 20 minutes to unpack it and get it plugged in. Setup was very simple as I was walked through every step. I thought it might be a little too big since I have about a 10’ viewing distance but that turned out to be perfect. My only complaint is that I wish the ports on the back were in a better place for easier access because the tv is not easy to move around. I would highly recommend this tv.

Been looking for quite awhile for a large flat panel 4K Ultra HD TV and kept returning to this particular model. As a four decades loyal Sony customer this product did not disappoint. The reviews on the Best Buy website confirmed my decision as well as the great staff at Best Buy. You definitely want to have a friend assist you with setting up this tv due to its size Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Very satisfied with this tv.

this tv after weeks of deciding which is better ... i owned a 900E 65in and I feel after trying to decide .... the 900F 65inch was the best choice. Its $400 less than the 950G ... its brighter than my 900E but not as black levels but it isn't to bad to the 900E ... but the 950G is brighter but the black levels are not as dark as 900F plus its smooth picture ... i watch a lot of NFL and NBA sports and the 900F is a smooth picture.

This Sony Bravia is INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best picture quality that I have seen in a television this size. The blacks are super dark and the colors are crisp and vibrant. Totally awesome resolution. I love the fact that it comes with 4 HDMI ports. This TV won't disappoint. Because the television is so thin, the sound could use a boost. I do recommend getting a sound bar with a sub to truly have a cinematic experience.

I had a Sony TV when I got my first apartment..just starting out in life years ago, it lasted a long, long time with good picture quality. So now that my old tv Mitsubishi is no longer working, I tried a Sony TV again. I am very much satisfied with MY TV completely. The picture is better than any that I have seen to date, and I did a lot of comparison shopping. This is the tv for the now and the future. Excellent picture and quality all around! SONY ISTHE BEST period!
