Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class X900F Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. They appreciate its great value for the price and find it particularly suitable for gaming. While some users have concerns about the remote control's functionality and the TV's speakers, these drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive customer experience.

awesome product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade from a smaller Sony 4k TV, which I was very happy with except for the screen size. Great picture, easy setup, works perfectly with my receiver (Denon) and all my components, easy to hang on my existing wall mount - all in all I am very pleased. I was a little disappointed with the app selection compared to my older TV but I like the new format and user interface a lot better.

Owned for 1 1/2 years, and still in love with it!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this TV for about 2 1/2 years now (not sure why Best Buy thinks we bought it last August - it was actually purchased in January 2020), and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. After a LOT of research, and numerous hours standing around looking at different displays in-store, we chose this TV to replace a much-older Sony that was still going strong but wasn't 4k. It has been amazing, with never a day of trouble. It is used every day, usually for many hours as it functions as background noise a lot of times when nobody is actually watching. The picture is incredible, and when our sound bar died a couple of weeks ago we discovered that the sound from the TV alone is much better than expected. Yeah, we just hooked up the old soundbar when we bought the TV, and never gave it another thought until we HAD to use the TV audio. It's a nice surprise, and just one more happy discovery about this TV. We will definitely stick with Sony from now on, but I don't anticipate needing to replace this beauty for a while, unless there's some great improvement in technology that I start craving.

Impressive picture quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the set for six weeks now and am still learning about it's features. There are so many. But, while the features and "smarts" are nice and all, I am most impressed by the quality of the picture and, after all, that's what you buy one of these for. I have some 4k content available via an Amazon Fire Stick 4k, mostly though we watch content from cable. That's all 1080 of course, but the set does a really nice job of upsampling. Shadow detail (a product of the "local dimming" feature?) is pretty great, too. Some of the reviews ding this model for less-than-optimal off-axis viewing - I don't have a problem with that at all. Maybe if you have a very large room or have the set located on the long wall, you might have an issue. I had a Vizio prior to this and, while it was a fine TV and served me well, this one blows it away. (To be fair, the Vizio was several years old so the comparison is probably a bit lopsided.) In fact, I looked at a newer Vizio before making this purchase and could have saved some money. I just liked the Sony better. I also considered comparable Samsung and LG (the Best Buy sales guy was an LG fan) sets. Again, I liked the Sony better. No doubt all these manufacturers (LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL, Vizio…) make great units and your situation might dictate a different brand but, for my money, this was the choice.

complicated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.what I mean is to get it to work a lot of Y tube to make Alexa work. android store is limited. I am yet to organize the apps in the order I use. had problems with the tv turning off not working correctly then there was an update and it got better. despite this the picture is great and the sound is also the channel guide great. the remote needs to be a redesign I am constantly hitting the button. this tv is complicated you will need to watch Youtube. there was one feature its ability to get more channels from my antenna. I live 40 to 41 miles from all the tv antennas I own 4 4 k tv's this and two Vizio

65" Sony TV 900 Series
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has the "wow" factor when viewing the picture. Very colorful and clear picture. Had a Samsung QLED which had a picture that was OK but it can't hold a candle to this Sony 900 series. Both TV's were around the same price of $1,000. Very glad to have the Sony. The name Sony I associate with value in which it is very true with the 900 series.

This TV is great for colors and live sports.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Sony 65-inch LED is the first HD TV I've owned. As promised, it has delivered an array of bright colors with amazing contrast. It looks great, takes up less room (even with a stand) than my old 55-inch console, and was reasonably easy to set up. I am glad that I followed the advice of the sales rep (and several reviewers) and purchased a sound bar. I have noticed that, if the TV has not been in use for a few hours, it takes a minute or so for a picture to come on. Overall, I am enjoying this product and the pictures it provides. It makes me wonder why I waited 15 years to get it.

Best TV I’ve ever owned!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I’ve loved every minute of watching this TV. Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced both look great and add so much. The contrast is great. Only thing I’d wish this model had was less blooming (A haze around bright images that are nearby darker images) but really that can be lessened with calibration. This TV Is the absolute best of its price range!

Great TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well worth the wait after I Pre ordered it waiting a month. as the picture looks fantastic out of the box, to get the most out of the TV, look up the best settings to set for your TV to experience the full potential of the 900F. comparing to the past Sony models, the motion flow is the only thing that differs.. the motion flow is perfect.

Easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased an L G oled 65 inch. Way to warm and way to dark. I know how to adjust t v 's. No matter what I did still the same issue. Love this sony. Adjusted once and done. Blacks are great colors are for real. Also saved a grand in the process. Don't have to worry about burn in. Only draw back with all led' s, you need to sit in front of them. Fades at the sides.

Good 4K tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv has been mounted up in the living room. Shows a few signs of blooming when watching some netflix shows or when using subtitles. It isn’t too noticeable to the point that it bothers me. Colors and blacks are pretty good. Only use it to stream video content, no games or sports, so cant speak on the handling of motion but I imagine it’s good.

Super Sony TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big,Bright and easy to navigate. Sony has a winner here. As an android tv the apple interface requires an Apple TV, but I always included these so it was not an issue. The native smart tv platform is excellent on its own, and you will be well served if you don’t want or need Apple TV. Overall a fabulous tv.

Great TV best current value for buck
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned a Samsung 8000 series 4K TV to buy this one and what a difference!!! Better color brightness picture and so much easier to set up - love it !!!! Sony also has FAR superior adjustability- it recognizes components instantly while the Samsung needed help - for the extra $300 it is absolutely and positively worth the money.

Excellent Ultra HD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a refreshing change from the Samsung televisions I had owned. The colors are stunning. Black is truly black on this TV. And it just works. I turn it on and it works. No glitches, no fighting with the remote control. Great button placement on the remote. I love this TV.

Excellent picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Sony over other brands because of the outstanding clarity.I originally thought I was going to buy a Samsung because I've owned that brand for the last 15 years and always liked the pic, however when I saw The Sony picture and the comparison to Samsung OLED AND the price difference,I knew I would be bringing home the Sony Bravia.

This Sony TV replaced a high-end Sony 3D TV. I
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Sony replaced a high end Sony 3D TV. It is better for resolution and colors. Also better as a smart TV with better control and internet features. The motion refresh rate seems to be a little less smooth than my old TV, but it is refreshing a lot more pixels than the 1080P. The 900 series refresh rate is noticeably better than the 800 series, which I tried for a few days. Some of the content from years ago looks terrible on this TV because of the poor cameras they used back then. With this TV you become aware of which camara they are using for the shot. For example, the wire mounted camera at an NFL game us ususally better resolution than some of the sideline cameras. I love the fact that my other Sony equipment works seamlessly with the TV. The qulity of the HDMI cables can really affect the performance. I had a Monster brand cable that sucked.

Yes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been two weeks since I set this up and I am mightily impressed. Picture quality is excellent and I can't see any burnt-out pixels. I had a little trouble with my Amazon Prime (it told me my bandwidth wasn''t enough) but eventually it played the movie. I originally couldn't decide between this and a Samsung TV, but I finally went with reputation and history. I've had more thsn a few Sony TV's and haven't been dissapointed once. I am having trouble with the remote (aiming it) but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Great picture quality! Old model.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality looks great! I am impressed. I don't like the remote, seems like the response time has a delay. I don't like the fact it does not have Apple airplay2 in the Sony software update. It appears that the 2018 models will not get it. I wished Best Buy would had let me know that I was buying a brand new 1 year old model at 2019 prices. For everyone reading this review, the current model is X950G and it will be worth spending a little more money on a new TV.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched TV's for about a month leading up to my purchase. I also did the free Best Buy in home Consultation, which helped me narrow down what I wanted from 4 Tv's to 2 Tv's. It came down to either the LG OLED or the Sony X900F. To stay in price range I would of had to of purchased the 55" OLED, instead of the 65" TV I wanted. This is what drove me to the Sony X900F, for the same price I was getting a bigger tv which fit my space better. I am overall happy with this TV. It looks great from any angle and all my seating is at an angel there is no seating directly in front of the TV. It looks great whether in low light conditions or when the room is bright with sun light. I have not watched any 4K content on the TV yet, so I am not getting the full benefit of this TV. I watch a lot of network TV and movie channels (Comcast is my provider). I purchased a Sony soundbar at the same time, so i can not speak for how the sound is with just the TV, but from other reviewers I am glad I did this to begin with. From what I can see so far Sony has put out a great product here, though not an OLED it seems to certainly hold it's own.
