Sound is just above average, could definitely benefit from some sort of secondary audio. Remote is intuitive and easy to learn. Installation and set up is simple, the TV guides you through it.

Gorgeous Picture, Bright Too!

Thought it was out of my price range but the tech who helped me informed me it was on sale and came with a great bundle that included a sound bar. The picture js gorgeous and clean. I powered it up and was blown away! The detail is sharp, the picture is bright and I was hooked in seconds! The apps are easy to use and I was able to add additional apps just as easily. I don’t really like Sony Xumo tv channels, its not that easy to navigate like a regular cable box. Other thing I don’t like is the inconsistent sound that comes from the sound bar. Depending on the input/app, I have to turn the volume up higher or way down. Sometime the voices get drowned out or background volume is over powering. I may have to play around with the settings more. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. I’ll be using this baby happily for a long time.

I always thought the 65X850D had a great picture, until I turned on the X950H. The X950H is head and shoulders above my old X850D. No comparison. Taking into account inflation adjusted prices, the X950H actually is less expensive than what I paid for my 6 year old X850D (also a Best Buy purchase). I was worried that I may be wasting money buying a new TV when my old TV was working perfectly. I can honestly say that the move to the X950H took away my worries. The clarity, colors and details are amazing.

I had a Samsung which lasted 5 years and is in no comparison to this Sony TV. Android interface is snappy with the new X1 Ultimate processor. I also use my Google Photos as my screensaver which is a bonus. I love the speakers, it produces some incredible surround sound that a TV can produce. It is super loud and also has a decent base to it. I just go up to 30 and it fills my living room with rich sound. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great TV with great pictures and sound. Best Buy has it on sale for 200 less and if you use your best buy card you will get an additional 150 back.

I needed a new TV after moving across country in March of COVID. Nobody was open or had 2020 models. I drive to a Best Buy in Norwalk CT where they sowed me last year model. Based on that I took a leap of faith and ordered 2020 version online from local Best Buy. They delivered it fine but could not help set up. The setup worked fine as I am IT inclined.

I really like the sound quality on the standard built in speakers and probably won’t get a sound bar. The operating system and interface are also very user friendly. The picture quality is really solid for sports, movies and regular cable tv. It’s truly outstanding for programs like our planet. My only criticism is the wall mounting instructions. They’re not that clear and some useful pieces of information for mounting were in other sections of the directions. It was a pain to keep flipping around to different pages.

It been giving me some finicky problems for a while but we use our TV a lot in the house. I wanted to buy a really good TV whenever that one kick the bucket and I had seen the Sony series TVs that came out that were amazing. It holds up to its name and I have not had one single issue with this tv. It integrates with a lot of different things, you can talk to it using the assistant, blacks look black as night and colors pop so vibrantly. The price tag might seem a little high but I guarantee you it's worth every penny.
