I have purchased three Sony LCD TVs for my living room since 2009, and the 950h is by far the most impressive. It has deep blacks and the FALD feature and contrast ratios allow for excellent viewing, even in the darkest scenes. We have this set in our living room and the picture does not wash out despite sunlight shining through directly onto the screen. Highly recommend this TV.

Great picture I am very glad I purchased this one, it’s replacing a Sharp TV that is 10 years old so anything would be better but this TV makes it night and day the detail on the screen with sports or a movie are so detailed, great TV and happy with this purchase.

Yet the picture on his TV seemed to look sharper than ours. Also, we had to order some sort of special SONY cable for an additional $35.00 to be able to watch DVDs on this TV. You would think after paying over $1,700.00 for a TV, this cable SHOULD come with the TV for free. I never would have bought a SONY if I knew this ahead of time! The part is on backorder so we're still waiting for it.

MJL 2020 Sony Review

Each Best Buy location should have familiarity with local providers and be able to provide first class outstanding service to customers so they are able to use their new TV in a quick and efficient manner. This was NOT the case with this purchase. Quality is comparative and too difficult to easily judge against competitive products, though the unit appears to be of good quality and we were hoping the SONY brand was more user friendly.
