This tv has a great picture and a really nice design. Sports have been great, specially in vivid mode, and I like that it comes preloaded with the streaming apps that I use. I purchased the prior year model last year, and bought this one because I enjoyed the first tv so much. Sony makes a great product.

We purchased this around 3 weeks ago and it is a great TV. It replaced another wall mounted TV. The installation was easy (it fit on our existing wall mount) and the set up was easy as well. The picture is great. We have not installed a sound board but the audio seems good enough for us. All in all a great TV.

This Sony is the BOMB! Quick and easy install and set up. My wife and I took our time to hang it on a wall mount and were sitting in our recliners enjoying our favorite shows within the hour. It took longer to get it from the store to home than it did to start watching our programs.

    Avoid the XBR65X950H-

First of all, this review is not critical of Best Buy in any way. I really like Best Buy. The problem is Sony. In the XBR65X950H, which is supposed to be a higher tier model than the 900H, they use the ATSC 1.0 tuner and HDMI 2.0 instead of the newer ATSC 3.0 and HDMI 2.1 that the 900H includes. Nothing like a crippled feature set. Unless Sony announces a firmware fix that will update both the ATSC tuner and the HDMI port standard, you are basically stuck with older technology. The 950H has a beautiful picture. Just know what the limitations are. Best Buy should refuse to carry this television until Sony updates the television. It will likely save the stores some grief. The really annoying this is having to pack the television back up to return it to the store. I have to rate this television at the bottom of quality, value, and ease of use because of the limitations imposed by Sony. There is no reason they could not have updated the hardware. I guess they thought "good enough" was better than "great". I hope they saved some money going with the old tuners and HDMI standards. Thanks for the disappointment Sony.

The colors, whites, and blacks really pop on the screen. The sharpness and realism is truly top of the line. I was worried about the possible glare during the day time and I’m happy to say there is less of a glare on this TV then previous ones I’ve had and much less than the one from the LG my friend purchased.

This Sony TV is extraordinary. The colors are bright and the picture is practically three dimensional. Having the Geek Squad do the mounting to the wall, add my soundbar and do the TV setup was perfect. They were on time and very professional. All I had to do was sit back and enjoy.

After our 15 year old SONY finally gave up, we knew it was time to upgrade our tv to the new technology. When comparing the different ones on display in the store, this one stood out to us. While it’s not the top of the line, it definitely produces an outstanding picture quality.

This TV was a really great TV but the only thing that bothers me is that an Android TV that is more for an Apple iPhone. I do not like that at all. It just doesn't make sense to me. The quality of the TV visually is absolutely amazing. But I don't like the difficulty of the screen mirroring with Android. But they make it so easy to do it with an Apple device

Picture is absolutely gorgeous and the tv speakers are pretty loud even on the lower volume settings. With the tv being so massive I thought I would get some eye strain with it being as close as it is, but not the case at all. Now all I need is the new Xbox for some 4K gaming and I’ll be all set!

The main reason for getting the Sony was its picture and it is great. This is the first smart TV that I've had and it does allow access to just about everything that I want. The one little bump has been its integration with my Denon receiver. The documentation that comes from Sony could provide more technical detail. It even lacks a picture of the back of the set to help with wiring decisions.

Great tv, awesome picture especially with 4K content. Easy to walk mount but suggest two people. Only 2 minor issues preventing me from rating 5 stars. Dark corners are noticeable when screen is light and same color across entire screen. This is a known issue with LED full array backlit tv’s. Also had a single dead pixel but it’s on the very edge in top right corner. Only noticeable on limited cases.

Before I bought this I bought the Samsung Q80T. The latter was a decent TV, but there were too many strange background patterns on the dark part of the picture. Also the image was just too soft even on max contrast. The Sony 950H was a much better choice as it has none of the above issues.
