Have had 65 inch X950H for 3 weeks. Picture is great with sharp color and crisp blacks. Chose not to use sound bar and the built in speakers work well in my room. Did get headphones if want more immersive sound experience. Only disappointment is the remote, which other reviewers had mentioned. It’s very clunky and needs serious updating by manufacturer so it’s easy to hold and maneuver.

I had a 60” Sony Bravia for 13 years and never had a moment’s problem with it. I decided to upgrade to get 4K UHD and modern connectivity. The new 65” meets and exceeds my expectations. It is very easy to set up and adjust. Being a smart tv actually makes all of the necessary adjustments needed on older tv’s no longer necessary. Love the ease it is to enjoy all my favorite shows.

Great picture and sound. Plays all my streaming services apps, (Netflix, Disney +, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, etc. ). No blurry sports or action scenes. Good in bright and low light rooms. Software updates are frequent so it stays compatible with new services. Chrome casting works great with iPhone. 4K picture is awesome. I would recommend to a friend.

We purchased this Sony - 65" Class X950H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV to replace our old Sony Bravia. We decided to continue with this brand because of the high quality of image and sound. Besides that, it has nice features, like built in voice control, online connectivity, and i extremely user friendly. We are very satisfied with this product.

Did my research for a few weeks before deciding on this set, does not disappoint. From outside the TV design is very sleek and the sound is very good. Inside: Blacks are great and picture settings available are perfect. Picture settings especially designed for Netflix is a great perk and self adjusts for better quality. Highly recommend.

This tv is awesome. Very bright, image is great. Never had any issues with wireless connectivity. Only issue I see is more of a preference and that's in regards to the size of the remote. It is huge. Im used to the amazon remotes that are tiny this thing is big, but it still work perfectly fine so wont affect my rating of the product.

The picture quality is incredible, sharp and clear. The set up was the easiest experience I've ever had and it quickly self set itself to me other hooks-ups including the Sony sound bar that I additionally bought. I'd give it a better value rating, but it went on sale this week for $100 less than I paid for it. No doubt I'll go in to get a differential refund.

Gorgeous TV with a great picture. When considering my options my BestBuy store had this unit side by side with an OLED option. The crispness and smooth picture were exactly the same between the two. For over a thousand dollars more, the only difference was a little color richness.

When we first got this tv I was so excited to sit down and watch a movie in Dolby vision...put it on and sat down with much anticipation...but I was TOTALLY underwhelmed. Blacks were marginal, colors were decent, just overall average. Made me wonder if my previous set wasn’t as bad as I’d made it out to be. Then I started working thru the settings on my Apple TV and realized that the HDMI settings required adjustment in order to send the highest quality images thru to the tv. Better, but still not what I expected. Worked thru the settings on my Denon receiver and found the same here...settings requiring updating to allow pass thru of highest quality hdmi data. That’s what it hit me...BAM! It was beautiful! Black blacks, brilliant color, crisp images, absolutely the best tv we have ever had and I can’t imagine one better. Wish I could afford the 75” version, but it is just out of reach. Do not hesitate to purchase this tv. Just make sure you’re getting all it is capable of with a high speed hdmi cable and proper settings if you’re not going to use the built in smart features. I’m personally not a fan of Google, so I have disabled the google assistant features.

This tv is superb-excellent, lifelike picture and decent sound. A sound bar helps a great deal. The design is sleek and the dimensions perfect. My only complaint is the two feet; they were puzzling to assemble and not that sturdy. I would have preferred the old single, center pedestal, but this design is hardly unique to Sony.

We bought this Sony to replace our Samsung that died just short of 5 years (thankful for Geek Squad Protection that covered it!). This tv has brilliant colors and great clarity. Love this tv. Excellent picture quality as you would expect from a Sony product. I feel this is the best led/lcd tv you can buy. Has the ability to be very bright while viewing HD content. When viewing non HD content I personally have found reducing the brightness brings out nice contrast and reduces blooming/halo effect.

I was looking to replace a 42" LG HDTV that we had owned for years, and did a lot of research and read multiple review and comparison articles before deciding on this one. I decided on the Sony since it performed pretty well in the areas I was interested in (viewing angle, HDR performance, quality and reputation) and looked to be about the best I could get at the price I was willing to pay. I have noticed a little trouble with scenes with a lot of motion - example: confetti falling in the picture fuzzing up the other items, or a player running down the field and the turf detail getting washed out. I had seen in reviews that the motion processing might be less than desired. But, since I watch most of my content on cable, I can't be sure if it is a limited signal from the cable box or the TV at fault.
This TV has a lot of features I have yet to use, and an outrageous amount of layers of menus to make customizations to everything I might want, but it looks pretty good coming out of the box so I have left the adjustments to a minimum. You might be more willing to play with things, but I'm satisfied with it so far.

Great TV that is very bright. The glare reduction is amazing, especially coming from a plasma. Picture quality is great but not as good as an OLED. User interface is simple to navigate and very responsive. A+ TV and the only thing I wish was that I would have found a good deal on the 75 instead of the 65 I bought.

Major takeaway: Had two years of minor problems with HDMI performance. Out of nowhere, the screen doesn’t work and we’re receiving 4 red indicator lights. A tech inspected it. Our Sony TV is now completely worthless after only 26 months of regular household use due to a faulty screen that is now out of warranty and has a 50/50 chance of being repaired because Sony (as well as LG) glue their LED screens in place. A brand new screen, if broken during repair would cost just as much as a replacement tv.
Longer review:
I usually have tvs for YEARS. Our main Vizio tv that I moved to the bedroom has been with me for seven years now and is still going. So, when we needed a new living room tv, I decided to go to get a great tv from a company that was reputable. I was wrong.
First, the picture quality was always astounding. From the moment it comes on, you are immersed in rich colors and deep true blacks. The setup was relatively easy, and for a few months all was well.
Then our HDMI port started glitching. Slowly, it would take a while to bring up the input device and eventually, after some time at this, stopped registering a device all together. I had never had this with a tv before. Called the Sony customer service because we were in our year warranty, they had us do a hard reset and said things would be fine. And for a few more months, they were.
Over the course of the last two years, I have called Sony three times to try to get them to inspect or replace our tv. It seemed odd to me that there would be so many small glitches with the HDMI, and I felt like there might be a bigger problem. There was.
A few nights ago, we were watching a movie, and the screen just went blank. We turned the tv back on, and the movie was still playing. So, my thought was that the HDMI was finally about to give out. A couple of minutes later, the screen went black again, and the indicator light at the bottom of the tv started blinking 4 times. Each time that I tried to turn the tv back on, it would get to the Android screen but then shut completely off.
Ultimately we got a tv repair person in to diagnose it and discovered that the screen was faulty. It is now 26 months since we purchased it, so it’s no longer under warranty. Sony customer service basically said there’s nothing they could do and we were on the hook for any repair costs. Because Sony and LG glue their screens to the tv body there’s a possibility that trying to fix the screen could completely break it. If that were to happen, it would cost $2k or more to replace the screen.
I don’t know how wide spread this problem is, but for a tv to have small malfunctions from the start and then a huge repair within a couple of years of purchase seems very suspicious to me. I hope others on here are enjoying their purchase, but this is the last Sony tv I ever buy. I don’t trust their quality or their service, especially for the price.
