I’ve watched a lot of content on other Samsung and LG TVs competing with this TV. I always left unimpressed. Out of the box, there is no soap opera effect. I know the other TVs can remove that setting but you shouldn’t have to. It’s absolutely ridiculous. This TV has very little blur and the blacks are really good. Other colors are vibrant. It gets bright enough in my living room which has 8 windows as well as being open to the kitchen area lighting. It’s simply a great purchase and I don’t regret it. The remote controls everything through E ARC including my FB Portal, LG sound bar and Sony Blu-ray player.

Favorite purchase for my new home. Starting off with the team at Best Buy kendall super knowledgeable and helpful, they answered any and all questions that I have. Most importantly the TV has an unreal picture quality. All colors are vibrant and fresh, the applications on the tv are great and easy to use I love how it has a resume watching from multiple platforms. Super easy to use my daughter love to watch her Mickey Mouse club house on it.

The unit came very well and securely packaged. Unpacking instructions were clear and understandable. Attaching legs was a breeze, no screws or bolts needed. VSA mounting area was clear of all necessary connections, so no wires or cables are hidden by the wall-mount hardware. Looks beautiful as installed, wires and cables completely hidden. Picture is excellent to superior. We have found viewing at angles to not be a problem except for the most extreme angles. The programming is very user friendly and the ability to talk to the unit to have it launch applications and tune to specific programs is a clear plus. We would purchase this TV again in an instant.

I absolutely love my Sony tv, a year later but I’m buying another Sony tv. The color, apps features are great too. I’ve a sound bar so I gave sound 4 stars because it doesn’t compare. I recommend Sony TV’s

I bought this TV 18 months ago when it was $3500 + tax. But I do not regret my purchase it’s a great product no issues. You definitely have to be careful on installation. It’s thin and I recommend 3 people to install. I read stories of the tv bending in the middle. I had no issues at all. I’ve never used the speakers on the tv. I always had Sonos in my bedroom from previous tv. For startup it sounded good for stock tv audio only setup. I’m spoiled to surround sound.

Bought this 75" for my basement, love the TV. The picture quality is great if you connect it through an external 4K device. We have YouTube TV, the picture is not very clear watching it through its own app so we connect the Google chromecast and watch from there. The quality is day and night. Sound is OK, not very loud. We also bought a Sony soundbar so it is not an issue. Plenty of HDMI ports. Overall good TV for dark room, to get a better experience, get an external streaming and a sound system.

Upgraded because my 2 year old broke our old one. I’m glad he did lol. It’s everything I expected and more. The picture and sound are crisp and clean, the menu is easy to navigate, and it looks great when playing my PS5.

Asked the sales associate for a high quality 75” tv, this is what he recommended. Amazing picture, unbelievable sound. Tv is pricey but definitely worth the money.

I use this TV for watching cable TV (only way to get Nationals baseball) and with video streaming services such as ESPN+ and Netflix. What I really appreciate about this TV is that the out of box picture is fantastic. The colors are spot on which is why I prefer Sony TVs. I like Samsung and LG televisions too but the Sony has incredible color accuracy and I don't need professional calibration. The picture is fantastic in custom mode and all I believe you need to do is adjust color temperature to your preference. The picture gets extremely bright if you need it to.

Wow! The screen is a massive 75” of pure beauty. Deep and rich colors at a great price! Very easy to set up and connect to cable box, sound bar, and gaming system.

No one can beat Sony TVs, none of the other garbage TV on the market even come close to the clarity and realism. Hit all the marks.

Outstanding TV, easy to use interface, bright and sharp picture. I have this in a bright room in the house and elected this unit over the X950H to get eARC ports. Unlike some other brands, very responsive to remote inputs (especially volume!). I am using this with an Apple TV 4K (2nd gen) and a Sonos Arc. It displays Dolby Vision and outputs Dolby Atmos to the sound bar with zero issues. VESA mounting holes are located toward the bottom of the unit, so any existing mount you have may need to be adjusted to accommodate. No regrets.

Ok this XR X90J replaced my 2 year old x900F Sony. The 65 inch x900F is now in my master bedroom (still one fantastic TV, for the money, to say the least!). But the XR Bravia series is even a cut above. After some simple calibrations (found by Googling) you’ll see a huge difference. Now mind you I bought the x900F for similar reasons, at a great price point, and Sony delivered. So if budget is a factor get the non-Bravia Sony- and you’ll be very happy. Back to the XR Bravia series- after calibration and using Apple TV I was able to link everything TV & audio to Dolby Vision/Audio. Wow! It is as live as being in the theater or sports arena. I don’t see how an 8K TV in the $5-7K range could be better. Since only a little content is in true 4K, do yourself a favor and spend the extra $400-500 and get this Sony Bravia!

If you are in need of a large format television but are not equipped for the oled price point then this is your set. The image quality compared to Sony’s next step down is quite noticeable. There is of course the X95 if you’re in the market for an 85”, but at nearly $3000 I would gladly settle for a 77” oled. This tv has an abundance of features and despite other reviews has, thus far worked flawlessly. I had concerns with the Google format being an Apple user with my entire home integrated into apple’s HomeKit. Set up was a breeze, the picture is hands down the best for the money and surpasses any other mid range model out there. Plenty of connections for all your audio/video devices. Talks seamlessly with my now 8 y.o. Marantz receiver. Vivid mode is bright enough for a sunny room and the Imax and Dolby Atmos settings are choice. If you are on the fence and this set is on your list of possible choices allow me to save you some time and get it, you will not be disappointed!!

Love it big screen for my living room nuce picture quality too

Very happy with this. Sony Bravia XR X90J. I compared others in this price range and this one came out on top in my humble opinion. It integrated perfectly with my Home Theater System. This Television is replacing my 47" 12 year old Sony Bravia which is still working excellent and now has moved to my bedroom.

This sony tv is great for pictures and videos it provides everything.

Minus 1/2 star for lip sync mis-match between what's on the screen and the digital input source, like our Roku, or Tablo. At least if you use the smart Google aps to replace the Roku or Tablo, the sound is synchronized. Excellent 4k picture which replaced our old Sony XBR-2 1080p panel. The demo videos from Sony and YouTube show off the display's capability nicely. But the other minus 1/2 star is for the glossy surface of the panel which reflects room lighting. Very noticeable during movies when I'm paying close attention to the screen, so I have to turn all the lights off in the room which I didn't have to do with my old set. Finally, the Black Friday/Cyber Monday $500 off Best Buy "normal" pricing sealed the deal. Get the Geek Squad installation service and extended warranty; well worth it to protect yourself if there are any warranty claims. Especially since they mounted it on the wall for us and would be responsible for taking it down and fixing/replacing it if there are problems for the next 5 years.

Lovely mid tier tv and exactly the upgrade I was looking for! Great color options and nice to have the new features play with next gen consoles so well!

Nice and big tv, perfect for a basement home theater.
