16 Inch Wide TV Stand Is Too Narrow

The feet of the tv come out to the very edge. We had to build a new 20" top to the stand to keep it safe.

Motion blur and terrible judder

The picture quality goes from like you are looking out of a window to grainy. The biggest issue is motion judder and jerky motion when the camera is panning. It is amazing for sports and there is ZERO blur or judder on quick action but on regular motion it can be terrible. We have YouTube TV and 1 Gig speed internet. I have even run an Ethernet cable and it still does it. Hallmark channel, Food Network, and local stations are terrible.

Even when a TV program is broadcast at higher quality, the transmission may have been upscaled from a low-quality source, causing it to look poor. If your video appears fine from other sources, the issue is with the broadcast. You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size.

Lingering "ghost image" straight out of the box

Yes, this tv is large and heavy and I thought that all that effort was behind me but unfortunately it was not. Upon watching the TV for the first time I noticed this "ghost image" that's always on the screen during a darker image in the background or during the :fade to blacks" during normal use. You don't see this during majority of the times especially during regular programming when the screen is vibrant and full of color but anytime it goes into a "fade to black" which is also quite often (especially NETFLIX programming), you will always see this diamond shape "ghost image" on the screen. This may not bother a lot of people (or maybe it does) but this doesn't seem normal and I feel like I have a defective TV on my hands. Bottom line, I am disappointed since now I have to go through the hassle and trouble of taking the TV back down, packing it back up in the box, and somehow finding a way to bringing it back to BESTBUY with a truck that I don't own. This is a big bummer.

We are sorry to hear that the TV shows ghost like images during darker image in the background. This is definitely not the experience we'd like you to have with our products. We'd love to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn this into a better experience.
Double or ghost images may occur for several reasons, follow the troubleshooting steps provided.
Run the Self Diagnostics option on the TV (not available on all models).
Blurry image or after-image issues may occur depending on the scene. To sharpen the image, set Random noise reduction to Low or Off with the following steps.
On the supplied remote control, press the ACTION MENU button.
Select Picture in the Display & Sound category.
Select Advanced settings.
Press the Down Arrow button to highlight Clarity.
Select Random noise reduction.
Select Low or Off.
In addition, LCD screen is made with high-precision technology to achieve a high level of performance and picture quality. To achieve this level of performance, the backlight setting of the TV is set to maximize the screen brightness. However, you may notice uneven brightness on the TV when watching in a dark environment or when the screen is blank. This condition is normal and not a malfunction of the TV.
If you should find this affects your enjoyment, here are few adjustments that you can do to minimize this condition.

Blooming is very noticeable

This set never turned on for longer then 5 second and would blink red 3 times then shut off. Which was a hassle but I understand it came defected. I then proceeded to purchase the XJ85 and after 4 months the TV is already a waste of money. It developed dark green pixels all over and can’t watch anything anymore. I regret switching to Sony after purchasing Samsung TV’s my whole life. You’ll regret your purchase DO NOT BUY!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE and your hard earned money, don’t be me you’ll regret it.
