It may not be the latest tec but its picture is pretty amazing. The best party is how the tv interacts with the cable box, steaming services, and audio system with nothing other than the Sony remote and the audio system volume +/- button you are all set. It’s fragile - so be careful when you hang it but otherwise it’s a great purchase.

Took me about 2 months of going back and forth trying to find the right one for me. I’ve been a Samsung fan for years now but this time I had to switch to Sony on this one because of the picture quality and specs. Was looking for something ready to play Xbox series x or ps5 and I can’t complain about this sony. I love it and use it everyday. Easy to install and apps are easy to use as well.

But I'm glad I waited for this one. Sony TVs are usually above average in picture & sound. So I wasn't surprised. But yet I was. At how good/great this tv is. I purchased this same tv from another big competitor. But unfortunately it came in a damaged box, with a damaged tv. So I put some notes in my order with Best Buy. Stating that I would turn away any tv arriving in a damaged box. And although an undamaged box doesn't guarantee a thing. It sure minimizes the chances of a shattered screen. The tv comes with some nice bonuses and offers. I paired it with a Sonos Soundbar. And well you know the rest. The home theatre experience is just that! All in all a great tv. And a great shopping experience with Best Buy. Thanks for reading my notes to those working at Best Buy. And Happy Holidays to ALL!

I finally got my hands on a PS5 from a retailer and not a scalper and it was time to upgrade to a 4k tv. The difference is night and day. Upgraded from an older Samsung that was 1080p. This tv works perfectly with the PS5 the colors are beautiful and the blacks are dark and getting this tv at a discount makes me feel that much better about it. Would recommend.

Does Not Play Nice with Others

It is slow to switch inputs, and many times will not display anything with the message “no input detected”. This is completely random. Sometimes works fine, other times I can’t get anything to work with it. I bought this tv to work with the new gen gaming consoles. I have an Xbox x, ps5, PC and Roku ultra connected through an onkyo AV receiver (new model which handles the Dolby atmos and 120 hz vrr). I have all new HDMI cables and have all the settings on the tv correct (which was not intuitive, btw and I am a techno geek). The thing is, it doesn’t matter if I have my components connected through the receiver or directly to the tv, it still randomly decides it doesn’t want to work. It’s so frustrating getting home from work and just wanting to watch a show but the tv decides it doesn’t want to display anything. So I spend 45 minutes changing inputs, turning it on and off and eventually it will work. My help call to Sony was useless. Their response is that it can’t be connected to an AV receiver and everything must go through the tv. That, of course, is a bunch of bull. See my comment above - it doesn’t matter if I have it connected to the TV directly or through the AV, sometimes it just doesn’t work. Regardless, there are only two input which handle the new specs and one of those has the eArc. So , if you want atmos, then that has to go to an Atmos capable receiver. I’ve been a Sony tv fan for a long time, but this model is kind of a lemon.

Bright and crisp. The remote easy switching from all apps ESPN, Disney, Netflix, Prime. Could use a little more memory for apps. Picture crisp and brightness is phenomenal. Prefer a single pedestal stand over two legs.

Second Sony TV and a second win. Impressive quality without spending too much. I just wish it had Apple TV like the LG I have. This Sony even makes my JBL sound bar sound better than it did with the older model Sony.
