Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can not recommend purchasing based on my unfortunate experience with my first Sony TV. I am a long time Samsung fan and have always had a great luck, never had any issue. I decided to purchase my first Sony TV after reading reviews and a then recent price drop. I bought the Sony X900H and after about 3-4 months the wifi stopped working. I contact Sony and they assured me that a software update was coming and would fix it. After a few months and no fix I called and asked for something to be done. Sony obliged and offered to replace the TV with a more current model the X90J. At the time I thought awesome job Sony takes care of their customers. Well the second TV the X90J has now also failed. The screen freezes on it and actually looks like it burns. So at this point I've had two Sony TVs that have failed in right at 2yrs to the month. I contact Sony and instead of replacing the defective TV they have offered to let me purchase a 3rd TV at a reduced price. I'm just no willing to keep dropping money into a product that just does not seem to be reliable.
