Loved it -- until it died after 19 months

But the panel died a bit over a year and a half in -- and you cannot buy a replacement panel. The tv would turn on, had backlight and sound, but no image on screen. I've owned four Sony TV models, and this is the first to die (it is also, sadly, by far the most expensive). My oldest is over 8 years old and still going strong. Because of my rock-solid past experience, I did *not* get the extended warranty for my Z9J. A decision I now deeply regret. Not sure what happened with quality control, here.

I love the picture quality, the 8K content from YouTube has looked fantastic! The 4K and 8K colors are very crisp and the picture is clear. I guess if I had any reservations it would be the sound doesn’t exactly work with my soundbar. I have an LG atmos system and it the ARC doesn’t always connect. It also won’t use the center speaker as the TV and just outputs everything to the bar.

It was definitely worth the wait because of the faster processor and better picture quality being that its an 8K Sony. I would recommend this Sony Tv to my friends.

$6500 TV DEAD after 20 months.

Now, I really don't like it.... DEAD after 20 MONTHS... DEAD! $6500 TV DEAD. Purchase date December 2021 Geek squad can't fix it. Panel not available and one other part not available. Very much questioning my next purchase :(
