    Well, if you are in the market for a new TV, you’d better buckle up! Our 60” 7 yr. old Samsung started with an issue of a dark line across the screen (see 1st pic), so I started researching the myriad of televisions made. Also, tv repair guy told me “don’t expect to get more than 5-7 yrs. out of these new TV’s”. WHAT? At these prices, that’s all you get?!?! I checked out Best Buy and bought a 70” TLC, online with curbside pickup. Went last Sunday and picked it up, brought it home, had Jules Ann help me unbox it, put the brackets on the back, hooked everything up, hung it on the wall and NO PICTURE!! Just hard lines!! See 2nd pic!! Called Best Buy, and was told to bring it back for another or exchange/upgrade. Took back, was greeted by their front door guy, who was awesome! He put me in contact with a guy from the TV department and “Shawn” explained about 600 TV’s in great detail! There are SO many choices and SO many prices, my head was spinning! He really did a great job with listening to my budget and telling me about all the options. He said 70” TV’s are most companies low end options and really recommend coming up to 75” or going down to 65”. I opted to go BIGGER with a 75” Sony. Also, best to stay “name brand” when choosing a new TV. So, that $500 TLC quickly went to a $999 Sony and I opted for the 5 yr. protection plan, even though I know it will break on the 5 yr. 1 week mark!! Anyway, $1,200 and 24 months 0% interest to pay it off and it is GREAT!! Now, if you go for it, you will find 4K is the “big deal” now. And, after I got it, delivered this time, and Julie and I once again, hooked it up and hung it on the wall, the picture was good, but not “awesome”. So, I looked into this whole 4K thing and found we weren’t even recieving a 4K signal. I called Xfinity and was told “Oh yes Mr. Jeff, we will have to send you out a box for that. And, Mr. Jeff you will be happy to know this is a FREE box and comes with Peacock, a $4.99 a month value, also FREE.” Now, he must have dealt with me in the past, because I do like FREE, but I felt it necessary to remind him that “we pay $300 a month for cable, internet and landlines” (yes, with my Mother here, we have landlines), he quickly told me “Yes, Mr. Jeff, I see you have been a very loyal customer and I will credit your account the $15 for shipping the new 4K box out to you.” I said “Thanks, but I was really hoping to get this before the Super Bowl, since we are having a small gathering.” He said he would “get a rush on it” and darn if it did show up today!! I have hooked up this new 4K box, to the new 4K TV and WOW, it is INCREDIBLE!!! Basketball, Golf and the Olympics all look outstanding!! I’m sure football will be the same!! Movies are also looking GREAT!! I mean, who doesn’t like a BIGGER TV?!? I would definitely recommend Best Buy and I used the one in Ownings Mills, Maryland. Ask for Shawn, he knows his TV’s.

    So I found this model as a basic entry level for my living room. Got a great deal. But retail was a bit high. But at the sale price. This tv is amazing as far colors and motion smoothness. Very solid panel as well. Though there is no local dimming. So the picture lacks there. But at the sale price I paid. It’s fine and we are very happy. I have this paired to a Sony soundbar and sub. They work great together. And sound seems to sound better?! Maybe it just in my head. EARC works great for Dolby atmos. The remote is good as well. Every app short cut you need. And all the necessary quick buttons. But I will say this is the longest tv remote Ive seen in a while. The only real problem I had, was the tv stand legs are super far apart and you have to deal with it. And if your tv stand is not long enough then you will like myself have to buy a new tv stand. Which I found here on Bestbuy at a great clearance price as well. So not the end of the world. Plus I now know that Sony made the legs so wide because I think they wanted to allow people to fit their Sony atmos soundbar. Because it fit perfectly. Plenty of ports and also great for gaming too. Very happy. Sony makes great tvs. Albeit a bit pricey. But worth it 100%.

    Anything bigger than 55 inches one should have a second person help hang the tv or even set it on a an entertainment center. The picture looks great not perfect but great. I don’t think we could have had purchased anything better for an entry level 75 inch tv. The sound on the tv is under par but if you are buying a huge tv, you shouldn’t be expecting huge sound from it. Get a good sound system to pair along with it.

    Excellent picture quality for the price. Four stars because of the unstable table top supports...We had to add additional supports as the triangular nature of the built ins were within 1/8" of the TV stand we bought and if the TV moved, we feared it would crash to the floor or back wall. The stands should be flat to provide better stability. Not a fan of Google TV and limited apps available, Roku 4K wouks well; however we can't control volume or on/off as we could with our Samsung.

    This TV is excellent. Size fits my living room well. Quality is great, no issues thus far. I love Sony products - from cellphones, stereo systems, TVs, etc since they last for a long time. I did get this item on sale (not by much) but still a significant cost especially during these times. Absolutely worth it, coming from a 40 inch TV bought in 2015. Delivery was prompt - even though I messed up the initial order thinking this would have fit in my SUV, the BestBuy staff fixed up my order and switched it to delivery when they ask what kind of vehicle I had.

    I did a lot of research and comparison before selecting this Sony TV. I was especially interested in the 2022 model, but it turns out not only are they nearly identical, the 2021 model has features removed from the 2022, with a higher price tag. The images are gorgeous, the bluetooth pairing to our headset took less than one minute, and built in WiFi is great for my elderly parents. The sound is good and all we need. The picture is bright and sharp and more than we expected. We are 100% happy with our choice.

    I live my new Sony TV… first time I had a TV this big… picture is clear sound is awesome… right now it’s sitting on a TV stand and sooner or later I am planning to hang this on my wall… add a new soundbar and subwoofer? I’m pretty sure it will be much more amazing…

    The quality is amazing! It has pre-installed buttons on the remote for YouTube, Netflix, prime video, and Disney plus. Within the TV you can add multiple people to subscriptions and use the same subscription for the one TV.
